Who let's a HABITUAL rapist free with nothing more than a slap on the wrist? 3rd district juvenile does. I'm writing my bad review here because it seems no one pays attention unless it's on the Internet. So, what makes you guys think it's okay to let a boy go free with nothing more than house arrest and counseling? HE'S 17. Me being a normal minded person at 17 I knew right from wrong. For example: it's wrong to take advantage of someone even if they say no. What about those poor girls? Do you even care? Have you set up counseling for them? Because they're facing a life sentence mentally. These girls didn't leave their home to be raped by someone they trusted. They left their homes because they thought they were going on a date or hanging out with friends. This boy deserves DT and to be counseled from the inside not the out. He doesn't deserve to be able to sit home and play video games and watch TV and to attend a class a couple times a week. My little brother is facing THE SAME punishment for alcohol tickets (house arrest, counseling four days a week, and no license). The police advice? Go on dates with a group of friends? No. You shouldn't have to have that much of a lack in trust in people you have to go in groups because you fear being raped or attacked. What about future victims? They'll see this and think, "I should say something but my rapists will see more freedom than me." This boy intentionally took these girls out with the intention of having sex with them even if they said no. Does that not seem wrong to you? In conclusion, District 3 juvenile court, you have not only disappointed me but those girls and their families, the state of Utah and any potential victims. Thanks. Kouri Richins Documentary on 20/20 involving this court house & Prosecutors! Absolutely disgusting the way this justice system conducts themselves!! Absolutely no evidence or attempt to conduct an actual investigation before throwing this lawful Citizen/business owner & Soccer mom of 3 young boys in Prison without bail! what the prosecution presents to convict this mother looks as shady as a sister going to access a safe in the home of her Deceased brother, sister-in-law & Three young nephews soon after his death because "the money in the safe & their home is now hers (per her own statement)"!! Im sorry but that doesn't ring right for a grieving sister that should be taking more of nurturing role to her young nephews instead of greedy-re-traumatizing role! Based on the public facts & evidence out via the Documentary & public records this court is only working based on a wealthy families "feelings & accusations without proof or text" that this mother was involved with overdosing her husband. Feelings & accusations that they Financially benefit from....this court is unqualified to uphold the law or seek justice... Courthouses are funded by taxpayers and in place to serve citizens of the community. The administrative function at this courthouse is deficient in all respects and the general attitude of the people that work here is one of not wanting to be bothered by citizens. I did finally reach Someone that was helpful but it took me about 20 phone calls and 7 or 8 reroutes before somebody had the basic information that I needed, which should’ve been readily available. And to be clear, I have no issue with any of the judges, but whoever owns the administrative function of this courthouse needs to be held accountable by the judicial commission that they report into and unfortunately it took a call to the Supreme Court for me to uncover that body. In my humble opinion, functions like the courthouse, the jail and other civic functions should have their funding largely predicated on the level of satisfaction and service they provide to citizens or better yet those that over see the administrative function have a significant portion of their pay tied to satisfaction of...
