I have been to this Mejuri location three times and all three times I have had an awful experience. The first time I came, the saleswoman was very rude and barely acknowledged me when I asked her about purchasing a flat back earring. I was told to come back when the piercer was on site. The second time I came I was told the piercer would be back in 20 minutes and I could wait so he could sell me the earring. When he arrived, he immediately had an appointment of which I was not told. It wouldn't have been an issue if the saleswoman, who knows his schedule, would've told me he would not be able to assist me, I was told to make an appointment next time. The third time I came, I had an appointment at 11 am. I was told to arrive 10 minutes early to which I arrived around 10:55 am. When I arrived the door was locked because the store doesn't open until 11. At 11:03 the security guard opened the door and asked if I had an appointment and told me that the piercer wasn't here yet. I asked if I could come inside and he said no they were still setting up the store. I stood outside for a few more minutes until the manager came outside to tell me they were trying to get ahold of the piercer because they didn't know where he was. She allowed me inside and told me he was running 15 minutes late. Mind you, the appointment I have booked is 20 minutes long so by the time he arrives, my appointment time would be over. The saleswoman offered I could leave to get a cup of coffee and return in 15 minutes, to which I did. I returned 15 minutes later and asked if the piercer was there, they responded yes but when I peeked my head into his station, he had a customer. I asked why he has a customer and they said its because I was late and weren't here. Remember, they told me to come back in 15. Now it is 11:30 and there is another customer waiting for her appointment, she asks what's wrong and I explain my situation. The piercer comes out and is told I’m his 11 am. He says "um let me look at my schedule and see if I can fit you in since you're late" to which I am shocked since he was late. The customer next to me offers to let me go ahead of her which I do. I ask about two earrings and both are sold out and I can't try anything on. I'm feeling rushed and uncomfortable. The piercer removed my earring and put it back in but as he's putting it back in, he drops it on the ground and doesn't even sanitize it before putting it back in my ear. After the appointment he says he will waive the piercing fee (even though I did not get a piercing, just jewelry) because I was late but still showed up. I was shocked that he said I was late and acted like he was doing me a favor. This is by far the worst experience I've had here and do not want to come back. Everyone was rude and were not sorry for them being the issue but rather made me feel like I did...
Read moreI have never been more disappointed with a store than I am with this store. I purchased a ring in-store just a week ago, and it had no tag when I bought it. When I got home to wear it, I noticed scratches on the ring. I immediately put it back in its box and planned to return it that weekend.
When I went back to the store, I was shocked to have my return denied. I showed the employee my receipt and explained that I had only worn the ring once ( not even) and that it came without a tag. The scratches were already present when I left the store, but the employee still refused to accept the return, not even for store credit.
This raises serious concerns: either the quality of the items they sell is so poor that they won’t even stand by their products for a week, or they’re selling items that are already damaged. Shouldn’t the store at least inform customers that they cannot accept returns on items sold without tags, especially when they’re the ones selling them in that condition?
This experience has left me with a lack of trust in their products and customer service. I won’t be returning, and I strongly advise others to be cautious when...
Read moreThis is a great Mejuri location. I’ve been to others in NYC, SF-Hayes Valley and San Jose and this location is my favorite. The store has a beautiful set up - there’s a pretty large in-store selection and being able to see more pieces in person is great. If there’s something you want that’s not in store, they’ll ship it to you. The stylists are really helpful in giving you their honest opinion about the best jewelry for you based on your style, hair color, eye color, skin tone, etc. I’ve been at this location twice and have had the same stylist both times and she was very...
