I love this place. Amazing prices, very large selection of items and impeccably clean. The owner is very nice and friendly. Scrolling through the other reviews, I noticed a grouping of ratings that were spaced all within the same timeframe leaving 1-star reviews and complaining about everything from prices to cleanliness. Every single review was written by oddly named Google accounts with a single review to their name - the review on this store. Each review is a complete fabrication. I’ve known Adele for at least a decade - he used to work at the store very near by where roughly half the food is expired (start looking at expiration dates) and some food is from Mexico where the health regulations are different. He’s always been a consummate gentlemen and I’m so thrilled he has his own store now. It’s always very clean, and I’m surprised by how many things he’s fit in there (we needed baking powder for onion rings and he had it, unreal). THE BEST convenient market store in the Marina!!! They have such a variety of items it makes me so happy to go in and find what I’m looking for. One day I needed pineapple slices and went to 3 other stores before trying Dad&Son.. upon going into the store the owner is one of the nicest and friendly people and cares for his costumers .. he had my pineapples!!
