Isalis — Local services in San Francisco

From the perspective of a Black shopper, this was not a friendly experience. I was very excited to come here and did a lot of research to find a boutique in SF that stocked specific brands found here. My mom was with me and when we walked in I got super excited to see some perfume she wanted to buy! She looked the perfume while I walked around the shop – neither of us were greeted or acknowledged during our time there.

What stood out was that other customers—who were not people of color—were greeted warmly and assisted as they entered the store. It was upsetting to see such a stark difference in how we were treated compared to others.

This was not the experience I had hoped for, and I left feeling unwelcome. Inclusivity and basic courtesy are so important in creating a positive shopping experience, and I hope this feedback helps this business reflect on their customer...

employees super unfriendly and dont even acknowledge you.. I was in the store for 15 minutes and not one person said hi or asked me if I needed anything.. this is a small store so employees were always around at one point, but zero customer service was present
