I got a wax about 8-9 months ago here and it’s low key ruined my vaginal health. For some reason the girl who did it put the wax all the way inside, to the clit, and ripped. I had so many tiny tears it took forever to feel ok down there again. Since then, I’ve had a series of infections I haven’t been able to get under control. I have had to deal with so many appointments, testing, itching, crying, and being overwhelmed for almost a year.

The other thing is, they use the same foam pad with no tissue topping over and over again. I personally felt myself sweat on it, and my back broke out after, too. It’s just really gross and cheap not to use tissue between each patient.

They refunded me for just the vagina wax and basically wanted me to keep it hush. They have no idea what I’ve been through at this point, and how much it has also effected my mental health.

Since recently moving back to the East Bay area, I was looking for a new place to get sugared in the city, not too far from my job. Through a nifty Google search, I was able to find Sugar Society and I'm glad I did. For new clients, they offer a $50 brazilian sugar special which I gladly took advantage of. Also, since the client after me cancelled I was able to add on a underarm sugar service as well. The place is nicely decorated with a cool 70's style vibe, where they sell jewelry and vintage clothing. Their Pandora playlist was also pretty dope which relaxed me and had me singing along to some of my favorite tunes. How can I sum up that this place is amazing! I love this place! If you are looking for a place to get hair removal and natural looking tans. Then you are in for a treat! Sugaring is an effective of removing hair without damaging the skin. Yay for less redness!! 2 . The hair can be shorter for sugaring than for waxing. I hate the waiting period of hair to be long enough. Bonus It hurts less than waxing! Best Brazilian and less pain WOW! They have a late night where you can get a service done as late as 9 pm!
