Our daughter has been at L'Academy Nob Hill since October 2021, when she was 18 months old. We'd been using a nanny until then, and I was very skeptical and concerned about how our child would do in a daycare environment.

From the moment we did a tour, L'Academy banished my fears. The curriculum is strong, with a good balance between personal character growth and intellectual stimulation. But more importantly, when you walk in the room you can feel how much the kids love each other, and how much the teachers truly care for each of their students. That feeling is why I can drop her off every morning knowing that she's in the best possible hands, getting everything she needs to grow. (And if I can brag for a second...the reactions from our friends and family when they see how much our kid can say and do suggest that she definitely is growing!)

There are a couple other points in comparison to other daycares we toured that are worth mentioning. First, this facility is comparatively new (opened 2020), which means their toys, books, etc. aren't as...tired...as the ones we saw in other centers. Second, the cost for a full week compares favorably to what other programs charge for part-time care--and unlike other programs, L'Academy includes two daily meals and a snack in that package. That means we can spend our mornings relaxing and spending time with our daughter, rather than hurrying around to get her lunch together. None of this would matter if our kid wasn't safe and happy there - but they're nice bonuses!

This preschool has exceeded our expectations. My wife and I can happily and genuinely state in this review that L'Academy has amazed us over and over each time our son randomly surprises us with something new he has learned. We speak English and Spanish at home and the first time he started singing a song in Mandarin we couldn't have been more proud of him and equally grateful for his preschool experience and the staff. We continue to witness how far he has advanced and we're beyond satisfied with the decision to enroll him. The drop-off and pick-up process is streamlined by scanning a QR code to check-in and out; the kids are fed meals and snacks throughout the day; they go for walks and visit nearby parks; they're fully engaged and exposed to a variety of subjects and activities; the 1Core Family app allows you to track your child's daily activities -- we love seeing the photos and learning about what he's learning and doing (I'm personally always checking it throughout the day and I feel great seeing him so engaged). We also appreciate the check-ins and conferences with director Sara to track how our son is doing and what we can work on together to help him improve in certain areas such as potty training. I'll conclude with much praise and gratitude for the L'Academy team that loves our kids as much as we do and for everything they do for them in regard to child...

We love L'Academy Nob Hill. Our daughter started at this center when they first opened in Fall of 2020. She has been there throughout to her pre-school graduation last month, July 2022. We strongly believe this center has equipped our daughter well to prepare her for Kindergarten.
