SF Clean Car Detail — Local services in San Francisco

(Edited: added one more star because he called me saying he saw my review and he said he found my items. It is still sketchy that he found them only after seeing my review and it was annoying that I had to make an extra trip back to grab them, but at least I got them back)

I would not recommend this place. It’s not a trustworthy place. When I called before going there, he said it’s $100 to wash the car and clean inside but when I went there, he said he asked for $375 because of the dog hair, so I negotiated it down to $300. Keep in mind, this is not a car detailing service that I paid for. Just a simple cleaning that took 1 hour. He said he’d be using different machines to clean. I should have declined, but I said yes, just wanting to get this over with. Since it was my decision to say yes to the $300, I don’t think this is his fault but it’s good to be aware of these upsells.

The part that made me think this is odd is — While the car was being cleaned, he texted me two times asking me to venmo him even though I told him I’d pay him when I get the car. That made me feel like something was off. A little sketchy. Why did he keep on texting me asking me to pay? Was he worried that I’d find an issue and won’t pay when I get the car?

When I went back to grab my car, the dividers for the middle cabinet were missing. He said he does this every day and that he would have remembered but both my husband and I clearly remember them as we dropped the car off because we were hoping he’d wipe them down and we actually had a...

Just did the interior and exterior cleaning today. And it is very great, just like the other comments said, my car is shining. The interior was waxed everywhere and the seats became slippery. The details are also very precise and clean. Something that I can recommend is to have a price list. It is very unclear when we talk about the price of the wash because I don't know which kind of service I have and paid for. Everything I know is the staff said that the interior cleaning is $400, and if it includes exterior cleaning is $550. For this time car wash, I spent $550 and 4 hours to clean, which I think the price is kind of high. If compared to other car wash services, like "Tower Car Wash", and "Shell"; the price is higher a lot (Compare the top services). So if there is a price list next time, I will be more comfortable. My car got stolen by homeless, after police returned the car it was so gross and smells very bad . Luckily clean car detail stuff did amazing job and was very helpful. I could not drive it because the smells so the had to come to my place and take it to their shop.
