Sui Generis Designer Consignment — Local services in San Francisco

I will NEVER step foot in this establishment EVER again. They try and sell you stuff for a "discount" from retail, when in reality they are selling you a $200 item for $170.. Thats no "discount" to me. But this isn't what bothered me. They sell FAKE stuff, and they CLAIM its real!!!!! My friend and I went in to buy a pair of shoes, but like any buyer, we checked to make sure it was real, which it wasn't. Didn't think much of it until we checked another pair of shoes. Turned out that this pair was fake too!!! When we told the staff, they told us that the person who brought them doesn't own fake stuff, and that they have sold many of his items before. Probably meaning that they have sold more FAKE stuff to unsuspecting buyers.... Completely DISGUSTED, I will never go there EVER...

Really awesome designer consignment store with a spectacular curation of garments. I was impressed by the sheer amount of pieces by top designers like Raf Simons, Issey Miyake, Junya Watanabe, etc. as well as niche brands like Visvim and Unused. I like to pop in every now and then just to see what's new in their inventory. Prices are what you would expect from a designer consignment store -- still pricey, but reflective of the high quality, rarity, and inspection of the piece. Staff is usually very friendly and want to help you and have conversations about the clothing. However, they seem to get annoyed by casual browsing and rummaging through their racks, to which I'm guilty of haha. Can't blame them though. All in all, definitely the best designer consignment store in...

I really like this store. I think the buyers must be sharp. The manager of the women’s department is a gem.

I bought a cashmere sweater that originally retailed for about 1,400 for under 200, and is still in excellent condition. I have never had such a nice item before. The difference in quality from my Free People cashmere sweater is profound. The fancy one really is much better. I wouldn’t have picked it out for myself, but Yitka has a really good eye — it looks fantastic on me (hopefully that’s not too cocky to say, just grateful for her help).
