First time ever making a return at this particular store. Item was brand new and I had my receipt. The associate Joanne was very rude. I came up to the register, stated why I was there and was immediately met with a nasty demeanor after saying I was making a return. She looks over the receipt, and again with an attitude asked if I had the card I used to purchase and made it seem like it was going to be a problem even though as I stated I had the original receipt, the item was unopened, and I was within the 30 day return window. It was overall just completely uncomfortable for no reason at all. Just based off of this experience alone, I won’t be back. If an associate has an issue with the return policy, maybe she should speak to Hallmark directly instead of taking it out on a customer. Also, maybe customer service isn’t your thing Joanne. I was looking for a card to announce my pregnancy and I had asked a worker for helping finding the cards. The lady that helped me although super nice was very pushy. I felt so uncomfortable as she read out each card and asked for my opinion. I know that's just how they are trained and is in no way her fault but I ended up not buying a card at all. For one none of the cards felt meaningful and all had pretty bland messages especially for such a special announcement but it also was just an uncomfortable experience all around. Very bad customer service !!! DONT COME HERE ! A while back when I came out of town with my family and needed assistance and was going to ask someone for help but as I’m walking around looking for things to buy I look and come across this white lady I think her name tag said Virginia if I’m not mistaken.
