I’m not one to pull the race card, however- after reviewing multiple reviews regarding the discrepancy in treatment among “certain” customers, I feel compelled to leave my review.
I have given this particular location the benefit of the doubt. Every single time I’ve gone in, I’m not greeted nor asked if I need help. Upon checking out my items, I noticed two Hispanic women be given plain, white paper bags after completing their purchase. What I found odd from all this was the following; a white male customer who checked out right after them, was instead, given the standard gray paper Alo labeled bag. I will preface this by saying that every customer mentioned probably had one or two items. Therefore, it had nothing to do with the “number” of items being purchased.
Alo, do your employees get to select what “type” of customer gets to be seen with an Alo store bag after completing their purchase? Does it lessen your value if customers not within your “standard” are seen with your branding? I too- was given a cheap plain white paper bag. And trust me, I will not be coming back.
I will continue supporting Lululemon instead of this obnoxious- evidently racist company.

I told him this was very misleading — it made me believe I was speaking directly with someone inside the Scottsdale Fashion Square store, not with someone working remotely, possibly even from another state or country.
To make matters worse, he sounded half asleep, and I had to repeat myself several times because he couldn’t understand what I was saying. After explaining my question twice, he still asked me to “explain it briefly.” I honestly couldn’t believe I was speaking with an adult...
