Truly, one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Only twice in my life have I ever left before my entree came, and this was one of them.

Started by waiting about 20 minutes for our table after arriving 10 minutes prior to our reservation- Fine, no big deal It's a Friday night at 7ish, almost to be expected. Told we can wait at the bar which was tough as party of 7 with a full bar.

After we were finally seated we waited a while for our server to show up. He went over the menu and went to get us water.

When he returned with water, we ordered, drinks, apps, and our entrees. We discussed food allergies and after checking with the kitchen something that he assured us was safe was not. He then returned to let us know that something was sold out.

Approximately a half hour later our drinks came and were brought to us but someone other than our server. One was missing and one was wrong (which we were wrongly charged for). I immediately told the runner/bar back/whomever that the beer was wrong. Our server came by about 10 minutes later and said he's working on the beer and he was going to get the missing drink. He also volunteered that he was going to send the manager by. After he brought the rest of the drinks he then informed us a 2nd item was out and we had to re-order. The manager came by and asked if I had got the beer, I said "eventually" and that was the end of the conversation.

Apps eventually came about an hour into our time there. They came sporadically. The pork belly nachos were 100% just made with pulled pork and it was the worst thing on the plate. Everything else was fine. At this point I ordered a second beer which took about 20 minutes.

After we all sat waiting, with empty drinks, and about 1:45 since we sat down, we decided we had enough. We flagged down the server (he was not checking on us) and told him we would like the check without our entrees. He said absolutely and he was going to send the manager over (again, we did not ask). A few minutes later she brought the check over and DID NOT SAY A SINGLE WORD. No "I'm sorry, what's going on?" or "We had 5 people not show up tonight we're slammed" or even "One of our chefs walked out and we have a server doing prep". Not a single word.

After reviewing the check the beer I was brought incorrectly was also added to the check. The server cleared that up and we paid with a 20+% tip.

Again, awful experience. It seemed like a cool place and had good live music. Stuff happens, mistakes are made, and its fine as long as you make it right or even make an effort to do so. Worst of all, the people who work there didn't seem to give a single...

Bacon Bloody Mary My wife had this cuz I don't like bloody Marys Not too tomato heavy, definitely a bloody but not in your face, good salt level She asked for it spicy and they came through You get the smoke from the bacon She repeated her comment about the spiciness

Room Service American gin, lemon, strawberry, bubbly wine I'm not a gin drinker, but this sounded super refreshing, so I ordered it First sip I was sold; both the lemon and strawberry flavors are very subtle, and there is no hint of the harsh juniper bite of gin, but the drink as a whole is very light and refreshing The slices of strawberry were delicious

Prosciutto deviled eggs Weirdly this comes as three half eggs, so we did a double order The prosciutto is sprinkled on the plate, not on the eggs, which is weird Over all, the flavor was underwhelming, sprinkling pepper on top helped There's no such thing as a bad deviled egg but I wouldn't order these again

Wellness Retreat Vodka, pineapple, jalapeno, mint, and sparkling wine Tastes like an alcoholic smoothie, like a green goodness bolt house, with vodka, with a definite but subtle mint undertone, like a back flavor

Smokehouse Hash Slow roasted BBQ pork, crispy potato, charred onion, poblano pepper, Sunny side up egg (we ordered over hard), flour tortilla (We ordered an extra egg and they split our order into two bowls so we each got good proportions, and our own tortilla) Potatoes are perfectly crispy, well seasoned, eggs were perfectly cooked, came with pico de gallo, and cheese Tortilla, while not necessarily hot, was warm, and very fresh Even though it was a split order, the meat to potato ratio is a bit light

Campfire Vibes 100 proof bonded bourbon, chai jacked apple cider, Spanish vanilla roasted five spice Smells like fall This is the ultimate spiked apple cider, can't even tell there is bourbon in it, and I'm not a bourbon drinker

Lilly was such an amazing server, so helpful, and just a great personality

For at least 2 years my wife 's number one can't be beat drink in the valley has been the No. 109 at the Windsor; the Campfire Vibes just took the title

20/10, would...

I called CD to find out if there was space for two people at 4:30 Christmas eve. I was told I can come in at that time, no wait but will be very busy around 5:15. Understandable. Arrived at 4:30, and was told I could have a table for two, but the hostess told me "we have to have the table(#10) back at 5:45. I agreed and we were sat. Our server was nice, went through the menu, and popular items. We are not drinkers so I think she was disappointed we didn't order alcohol. We ordered the popcorn shrimp instead of the popular pretzel fondue, and chicken pasta and roasted salmon. The server asked if "medium" on the salmon was okay. I replied that it was. Due to the fact we are on vacation and not really in a hurry, had an app, and were conversing we didn't really pay attention to how long the food was actually taking. One of the expediters from the window behind us came over and told us the kitchen was behind and will get the food out promptly. I was surprised by that and then remembered there was a party of ten to twelve our server was waiting on. I realized that after she took our order we did not see her again till well after we received our food. Long story short, we think she forgot to place our entree order! Food: the chicken pesto was just ok, needs more seasoning, and the roasted salmonnot "medium" it was overcooked. The Farro risotto that came with it was sweet. I don't eT alot of sugar and can taste it miles away. The whole dish could benefit from a little acid. A dollop of whole grain mustard and a couple of sprigs of dill frond would round out the dish. Great atmosphere and will...

I was blown away by the food and service at Culinary Dropout in Scottsdale. I have major dietary restrictions, so it is a real challenge for me to dine out at all, but my future daughter-in-law really wanted me to be a part of her event. I called about 5 days ahead to see if someone might be willing to speak to me about options. I was blown away with how friendly and accommodating they were! Normally, I feel like a nuisance and burden, but they made me feel instead like a VIP! Chef Helen actually took the time to thoroughly research my rare food allergies and planned not just a separate entrée but even an appetizer and salad that were exquisite in addition to being safe for me. Chef Helen took the time to talk with me on the phone before the event, making me very comfortable with how well she understood my restrictions, and she even took the time to meet us at our table to walk me through her preparations to ensure I felt safe. She was also attentive to the preferences and restrictions of the bride-to-be who medically has to be gluten-free. The other guests ordered their entrées off the main menu, and all of us loved our food. We also could not get over the friendly, attentive level of service. They will certainly be my go-to spot for celebrations, and I highly recommend that others support such a kind and quality establishment! They really made my day 😊
