I canât say enough about how incredible Zack was start to finish working with me on my purchase, which culminated today when I brought home my fluted jubilee Datejust 41! I am ecstatic!
Purchasing a Rolex is a process, and as someone with no purchase history from the 1916 company I was unsure of what to expect when I first visited the boutique earlier this year. When I arrived Zack greeted me enthusiastically and we struck up a conversation on how I had recently hit a personal life milestone that I wanted to commemorate with a Rolex.
I told Zack immediately that I was aware that certain pieces in the catalog were not going to be possible for me to get allocated, and that I was totally okay with that, but at the same time I didnât want to spend this amount of money on something I didnât love. Everyone in the market to purchase a Rolex has heard horror stories about dealers basically forcing people to buy a watch they donât like in exchange for the âpromiseâ of getting something they would want in the future, and that is something I was not interested in.
At that point in the conversation Zack did something another Rolex dealer had not done with me before - he was honest and helpful!
We looked over all the different models together, he was candid about what was and wasnât realistic. We worked to identify the âsweet spotsâ of which configurations I liked, and were also available enough that with some patience I could get allocated. I assured him I was truly interested when one became available, and we exchanged contact info.
A little time went by and I figured - This Zack guy probably talks to hundreds of people a week that say they want to buy a Rolex, and while many of them are serious, there are also probably a bunch wandering in to killing time while their wives/girlfriends are in a near by storeâŠso I did want to follow up after our initial conversation. I proceeded to very seldomly, but occasionally and during business hours, send a message to Zack just to let him know I was still around. He would give me a brief reply, no promises or timelines, but for the first time in my several attempts to get an allocation from various ADâs I did feel like the person I was working with was actually trying to get me a watch.
Low and behold - today I get a message that the watch we discussed earlier this year that both checked all the boxes on my wish list, and per Zackâs guidance, with some reasonable level of patience would be available, was ready for me.
The actual experience of the purchase was awesome, which is to be expected when buying any luxury item, but the cherry on top of the whole thing was Zack was genuinely as excited for me to get the watch as I was to receive it - ...
   Read moreI want to start off by saying the intention of this review is not to get anyone in trouble but simply shed light on my experience working with a salesperson from Hyde. This had been a special year for my wife and I because we are expecting our daughter to be born later this year. I thought it would be amazing to purchase our dream watches and one day pass it on to our son and daughter. As I walked in this particular salesperson greeted me in the most unfriendliest tone. I tried my best to start a conversation but only received one word answers. I wasnât even asked what watch I was interest in, I took it upon myself to let her know. As soon as I mentioned the watch the response I received was âthe wait is 2 years and we are not taking any more names.â I was in no rush and had no problem waiting for this particular watch because itâs my first ever Rolex and I wanted to feel good about my purchase. I didnât ask for anything ridiculous btw. I then put my name down for a different watch but with a particular dial and left disappointed. To my surprise, I received a text from my sales rep but with watches I never inquired about. I responded letting her know which models I was interested in again and never heard back. I reached out again regarding a watch for my wife as a surprise for birthing our daughter and received no communication. As a business owner myself I treat every customer of mine with respect and grace because they choose to spend their hard earned money with me, so I can support my family. I canât fathom someone wanting to spend 15-20k at my store and leaving disappointed in the way they were treated. To say this whole experience with Rolex has been disappointing is an understatement.    Read moreZach Evans from Hyde Park Jewelry store in Scottsdale, AZ was simply amazing! He helped us secure a Rolex watch that we have been searching everywhere and could not find it.
I live in Northern California, and out of desperation to find a certain Rolex watch model which is not available in any Rolex stores here in California, I decided to broaden my search and called Hyde Park Jewelry in Scottsdale which is also a Rolex store, in the hopes that they might carry the specific watch. My call was transferred to Zach, who is the Rolex advisor at the store, and I told him that we need to get the watch to give as a gift to one of our employee who is celebrating his 30 year anniversary with our company. But he told me that the watch I was looking for was currently not available, as that particular model is the most sought after model, and it is usually out of stock. However, he told me that he will try his best to secure the watch and he will call me right away once it is available. To my surprise, he called me the following day and let me know that he has the watch! It was like a miracle! I was so glad that he was able to find it for us. My boss ended up picking the watch that weekend since she lives in Arizona, and we are all so very happy that we finally have a gift to present to our celebrant!
Zach went above and beyond to make sure he satisfies and makes his customers happy (we are living proof of that!). He was very nice and accommodating, and his willingness to help a customer is very admirable. He is the epitome of a great customer service personnel.
