Sharky's — Local services in Seaside

We are very disappointed my fiancé purchased a sweatshirt from Sharkys for my Christmas gift! The hoodie cost just shy of $70 after he made it one of a kind with extra decals! There was a large hole on the side of it. As a local, hard-working, business owner. We always make sure To shop local! Value our customers, and want to see them satisfied, Happy, And would never argue or suggest they are manipulating what needs to be fixed!! We just left the store annd… along with some of the worst customer service, It was suggested that we made Intentionally damaged the item. The return/exchange was shown to us on a printed sheet by the register that if it was defective, they would correct it. However, we were told that if it was defective in the store, and you found it that way not before. It would not be made right after you leave the store! My question is it possible when the decals were made Maybe there was accidental harm. Or maybe it was a defective garment. We did not cause harm to this, as it is perfect unworn condition. With the tag intact. The hoodie went directly from the bag into a gift bag. And we surely did NOT deserve the snide attitude as we came in and left being kind and professional. As a business owner, I hate to leave negative reviews, especially saying to avoid shopping a store, but I absolutely do not recommend Sharkys, We will never go into purchase another item and support this business. My wife and I walked in here while strolling the streets of Seaside. We browsed the many shirts they had and found a couple we liked. They have many on display, then you pick which shirt you want and they print the design on it for you right there at the front counter. This allows you to customize your shirt type, size, and color, and also the color of your design. I thought this was cool!

....But then they started printing... My wife and I were the only ones in the store and as we were waiting for our shirts to get finished, the two girls working there started playing music with very strong language, they themselves were using very strong language, and they were dancing around, making jokes to themselves, and behaving very unprofessionally. My wife and I felt very awkward, and the girl even said, "I'm sorry, we're just weird," to us, but the unprofessional behavior continued. I was highly unimpressed. We like our shirts, but I would not go back, and I certainly wouldn't advise any family to take their kids in there.

To top it off, as we were walking further down the street we found our same shirts at a different shop for less than half the price we paid. So I think it's safe to say,...

Wandered into Sharky's last Thursday just before noon. There were only a few customers in the place and two employees. Both employees were hanging out by the cash register chatting. My daughter was interested in riding the shark, so after waiting for several minutes by the shark ride, I went over and asked if one of the employees would be able to assist. I was met with the following response: "We aren't running the shark ride until probably 2:00". Then, the other employee said, "I have like 70 boxes of inventory to unload so come back later". I also want to add that there wasn't any sign on the ride indicating that it would be closed until 2:00. As I went over to tell my wife and daughter, another family had come in and was wanting to ride the shark. I informed them and we all left.
