Lash — Local services in Seattle

Lash is a cute place and I was really excited to try something close by. However, I unfortunately had terrible customer service and was treated horribly. I got my lashes done and was not happy about the quality, the lashes were falling out within a couple of days and I came back to get a fill hoping the job would be done better with someone new. When they did my lashes they spent 90 minutes, they were not full at all and I only had lashes put on in the middle of my eye. They had so many gaps and were off balance since the lashes were mainly put in the center of my eye. It was really important that they were done correctly because I was going to be in a wedding 2 days later. When I complained to April (who is the owner) she was very insulting, argumentative and told me thats how her salon runs. I asked for her to please fix them and make it right before I leave for my trip. Instead she just told me not to come back since I didn't like the outcome of the lashes. I even paid and tipped for the time that was spent, I simply just wanted the job done right. After more time was spent arguing, she said she would add more lashes if I made a double payment, so of course I declined. April also said that she doesn't want people like me coming to her salon if they are not happy with the quality. She was so catty and rude and no one deserves to be treated like that just because they expressed their concerns. I have never heard of a business penalizing someone for complaining about the service, most people will fix it and make it right. Instead of fixing the problem, she let her ego get in the way and became greedy by wanting to double charge me.

I’m giving 3 stars because my lash tech was very kind and the space was well decorated and clean. I would leave 1 star about the lack of communication of the salon’s abilities to perform services that are advertised and available for booking. I booked for a full-set of Volume lashes 1 month in advance of my vacation & was informed on the day of my appointment that they are typically a “Classic Lash only” salon that uses pre-made lash fans, not handmade & that they would not be able to achieve the volume set look I had booked for. I gave it the benefit of the doubt because I was 2 days away from departing on vacation & she told me she would do her best. After finishing I was clearly disappointed and was told with my next fill we could achieve “more” volume. I got $10 off my service because she knew I didn’t like them & the lashes all fell off 3 days into my vacation. I also did not receive 100% coverage in my appointment, I had several gaps of healthy lashes that I tried to fix myself but anyone who does lashes knows that it’s virtually impossible to lash yourself due to the fumes from the glue. I paid over $200 for my full-set + tip even with the ‘discount’ and was very surprised to receive a direct text referring me to an entirely different (more expensive) lash salon. Unfortunately I will not be returning, but hopefully the business owner can be made aware that over charging and referring customers elsewhere after they have already paid $200+ with unsatisfactory results is unprofessional. Lashes so amazing, I had to leave a review! Before moving to Texas four years ago, I used to see Tavia at Lash in Seattle. She did my lashes for years and I was always SO impressed. she’s truly talented and a perfectionist in the best way.

I recently came back to Seattle for my wedding and booked an extended fill with her. Even though I’ve been getting my lashes done in Texas, Tavia blended and worked with what I already had like it was nothing. I don’t know what kind of lash magic she has, but here we are almost a month later and my lashes STILL look incredible.

My lashes not only survived my wedding (and all the happy tears), but they thrived through my entire honeymoon. I went swimming, boating, and lived my best newlywed life and if you’re a lash girly, you know boating is basically a stress test for lashes. Yet mine stayed full and fluffy all the way until my next fill back in Texas a month later.
