The Ferry itself was a pleasant experience. It was only $6 or $9 for a two way trip, definitely worth the sights on the ride there. The ferries offer seating inside the boat, as well as some exposed to the outside where you can walk around. It was generally a smooth ride so I don't believe seasickness should be an issue, and there was a convenience store inside the boat, overpriced as it may be. Unfortunately, when we landed at Bremerton there wasnt much to see there. There is a small naval museum and a few shops and bars, but everything evidently closed before we landed at 9 pm besides a couple of the bars. However, it was a pretty little town and I would recommend the Ferry to anyone that enjoys walking and exploring new places.

Seattle is a fun place to visit however the emerald jewel is found after a short ferry ride to Bainbridge Island. One can be a walk a board and sightsee the sweet town of Winslow- shops, restaurants or The Town & Country store where you will find the best of fresh veggies/ fruit or an already prepared meal. Great photo opportunity going back to Seattle- photos below taken from the ferry!

Once again under construction. For walk on foot traffic there is not very much room to wait before the ferry comes. The ticket booths are a little fussy. But who can complain when you know you are about to ride the ferry and possibly see Orca! We watched an entire pod splash on the way to Bremerton.

The toll booth operator was extremely rude to me when entering with my car simply because I couldn't understand him (he had an extremely strong accent). Our car battery then died while waiting on the ferry; I approached the dock operator guy who starting barking orders at me and wouldn't let me ask him a question. He only told me that he would be back to deal with me in 30 minutes. After five minutes I had a young kid approach and start badmouthing me because my car wasn't ready for him (keep in mind I was told 30 minutes and it had only been 5). Because our car battery needed to recharge, we needed to leave with ought using the ferry so I approached the toll booths to ask for a refund. The original guy that was rude true to form yelled at me and just pointed to another toll booth. On this toll booth there was a "Please knock" sign. So, I knocked and waited. I could clearly see the woman inside but she didn't respond. I knocked again but she still didn't even acknowledge me. I then continued to walk through the drive-through and It was clear that she could see me but would not acknowledge my presence if I wasn't in the drive through. As if, my presence didn't deserve her having to turn around. It got worse when I asked for a refund; I got a "you're a scumbag" glare; she ran my card and then didn't say a word. She just handed it back to me with ought looking at me. I had to ask if it had been run and whether we were all done. All of these staff deserve to be fired. If you enjoy being treated trash, definitely take the ferry. Considering I was treated horrible by all four of the people I came in contact with you have about a 100% chance you or your family members will be treated horrible. Avoid this ferry...

The female in the toll both that day was HORRIBLE!!! My mother made a joke because we were excited, 1st time on a ferry and happy to go see family. She gave NOTHING BUT ATTITUDE! I told her my mom is joking and it a joke about HERSELF being a senior citizen and if that counts, or something to that. She was so rude and does not comprehend customer service! My mom is 66 years old and did not deserve that what so ever. If your not happy with your job, do not take it out on anybody. So when it was time to go back we drove the long way around so we wouldn't have to go through that again....
