I went here to get my nails done and let me just say this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a nail salon. My nails were terrible. My tech was Heidi and she kept trying to fix them apologizing for her terrible work. It took her over two hours to get them halfway decent then she told me because they were about to close, could I reschedule for the pedicure that I had an appointment for as well. I told her absolutely not, so she did them quickly and I just knew I was never returning. How are you asking me to reschedule my pedicure when you’re the one who took 2 1/2 hours to do my nails because you couldn’t get them right and your work was awful? The funny thing is, when I got there, I realized they “all” looked familiar so I asked them if they used to work at Queen Anne Nails on Queen Anne Ave N? They said yes, so they were all at this location now which is a newer Nail Salon. I remembered I stopped going to the other salon a few years ago because of their terrible work, so I wasn’t surprised at the service at this new place. I then decided to go to Queen Anne Nails the very next day to try them out since they have a new staff there and let me just tell you, the staff there is absolutely amazing! So if you’re looking for somewhere in the area to get your nails done, go to Queen Anne Nails and Spa on Queen Anne Ave., North and ask for Katie. She redid my nails and did an exceptional job, she was quick, did quality work and paid extra attention to detail. The atmosphere there is positive and it’s just a great vibe. Please stay away from Xavia Nails, they changed locations and their work is awful, you will also be there for hours especially if Heidi is your tech. Easily booked an appt. online where all services were listed with descriptions and pricing. Salon is easy to find on 1st Avenue with lots of street parking available. Salon is beautiful! Very bright, modern, and clean. Check-in was available on an IPad at front desk, and I was greeted by two Nail Technicians. Spa chairs are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! Nothing like I’ve ever experienced in a Nail Salon! I received the Spa Manicure and Pedicure, with regular nail polish. Very reasonably priced for deluxe treatment (but at the basic price) including lotion massage and hot towels for mani, and scrub massage, lotion massage, hot stone massage and hot towel wrap for pedicure. The place is bright and clean and new. The decor is upbeat and the furniture comfortable. The place is large too, so there is little noise. It feels like a high end hair salon. They have a great selection of colors and brands. I should probably wait for a few more months to give a review as it sometimes takes weeks for nails to show issues, but for now I can say this: if you ask for a classic/traditional manicure (gel or no gel) the results will be great. I have been getting service there 3 times, no advanced appointments, and my polish lasted 20 days, and so far my nails are not breaking due to the polish removal process or product.
