I have an ASUS laptop that has warranty on it. the laptop suddenly had the monitor display colors incorrectly. so i contacted asus and they said im covered and you can go to a best buy to get it repaired. i walk in, and they flat out refuse to do repairs under warranty because i opened up the case to do general cleaning, and that "voided the warranty" IN WHICH on my warranty card, nothing is said on that topic. contacted asus again and they said cleaning the insides does not violate the warranty. Went to get a laptop repaired for a power jack, said they had to ship it out and replace the entire motherboard instead of just the cable. Would not recommend.
