A store for everyone... Kohl's is not just a clothing and shoe store. They sell home goods, luggage, electronics, small appliances, pans, rugs, outdoor furniture, bedding, bathroom sets (including shower curtains), luxurious towels, curtains, frames and home decorations, high end makeup, jewelry including expensive watches and real gem accessories, bras, handbags, winter and summer gear, suits with a large selection of ties, workout clothing and some gear, the hottest toys, children's books and even have charitable items to help kids for kids (stuffed animals with matching books are just $5/ea). Back to school time, they have nice backpacks and some have matching lunchboxes. These include sports brands like Nike and Under Armour. Christmas time, they sell fake Christmas trees, ornaments, wrapping paper and you never know what you'll find from a secret Santa gift to the hottest kid's toys.
They have petite size for women and Big & Tall for men. They have women's plus sizes, Juniors, misses and kids from birth through sz 16/18. They sell sporting goods brands (Nike, Under Armour, Adidas) shoes and clothing, Lauren Conrad, Vera Wang (Simply Vera made for Kohl's), Rock & Republic, Jennifer Lopez, Mudd, Candie's, (Steve) Madden and more. The majority of the staff are friendly and helpful. They accept returns on anything without a time limit except electronics which have 30 days.
There's almost always a discount and if you're a Kohl's charge customer, you receive even more discounts. Other discounts include birthday gifts and an "anniversary" gift both in the form of cash discounts. They have a rewards card where you can earn cash discounts. They hand out "Kohl's Cash" ($10 per $50 spent) on a fairly regular basis to be used for an upcoming period, on just about anything in the store, even Nike and fine jewelry.
Staff are friendly and the line tends to move quickly. The managers are helpful and will go an extra mile in certain circumstances that others stores just don't do anymore. Oh, and the cashiers say, "Thank you," something not heard enough in today's world.
The only things missing are a cafe and produce or this would be a one-stop shop! I...
Read moreI will try my best to keep this short and sweet but I want to make sure I give all the people Ive had the pleasure of interacting with their much deserved flowers. Whether its returning amazon purchases, shopping for myself or a gift or even just making regular returns (because Im bad at shopping and can never seem to get it right the first time) all of the people Ive come across have been nothing short of amazing. It doesnt matter the time of day or how busy the store is, the following list of people have gone above and beyond and I want them to know it is appreciated. I meant to give all of them individual reviews on the day that I spoke with them but I havent been able to get into the "kohlsfeedback.com" site for at least a week and a half now so in the meantime I will say it here. Im talking about being so sweet, kind, personal, inviting, helpful, knowledgeable and patient. The list goes on but every time Im in there they make me feel welcome with smiles and kind words, always making sure Im saving whatever money I can with different sales and what not and always guiding me in the right direction when it comes to something I looking for. I know this is a long post and this is only the beginning so bare with me Kohls people :D. From managers to cashiers both young and old, I honestly cant remember the last time I had a bad interaction with anyone. Ive taken advice on presents and clothes and candles, you name it. You really never know whats going on in someone's life and just how much being genuinely kind to a stranger can mean to someone at the time and the people here never disappoint. I hope this messages reaches the right people because the following people are not only great employees but honestly just seem like great people and the world needs more of them. Without further ado....here they are and in no specific order, just me collecting names from the last couple weeks and writing them...
Read moreI have been a Kohl’s charge member for years and until recently, never really made use of my card. Shame on me first and foremost! Your Seekonk location has made me love shopping again. I was there last week and had a fabulous experience. Unfortunately, I didn’t think to grab the names of the associates who were kind enough to help me during my visit. I wound up having to go back today to exchange something, and was sure not to make that same mistake! LaKeisha at the customer service counter helped me with my exchange, made it very simple & quick. She was also super pleasant. Wendy who happened to be covering the shoe department, but was helping at the exchange counter momentarily (it was busy but they were working fast & friendly!) heard me mention that I was exchanging work shoes I had gotten for my boyfriend. When she looked at the box she saw I had originally purchased a 9.5 but was now getting an 11.5. We got a good laugh but I told her it was simply because we loved the shoe and although he is a 10, there was only a 11.5 option on the floor. She immediately sprung into action, checked the back inventory, and ran to get me the 10’s he needed. She answered a few more questions I had on Kohl’s cash and was simply such a standout employee - and person. Then to end my amazing experience, I had Cindy who cashed me out. I grabbed a pair of shoes for myself in clearance that had no tag indicating the price. Low and behold, we needed Wendy to help me out again! During the short wait I chatted with Cindy, and per usual, Wendy quickly found the information we needed. Phenomenal staff and when it is more important than ever to make guests feel good, I must say - this place is top notch. That may sound silly, but I work in the customer service field and think you should know that the staff here is what makes all the difference to the consumers who are lucky enough to walk in. Thank you! You’ve got my...
