I went by the Arundel Mills store on New Year's Day. I spoke with Ben, who was was incredibly helpful with my purchases. I had received a PS4 for Christmas and was looking for more games to play other than the one it came with. I had a few pre-owned options already picked out and was asking for someone to help me choose between three Final Fantasy options. The guy behind the counter told me that Ben was my guy to talk to. He explained the differences in the game play between the different versions and helped me narrow it down to one game. I had already chosen Lego Marvel as my second option and was trying to figure out which should be my third choice to get the special deal of "Buy 2, Get 1 Free". He showed me some of his favorite games, explained the type of game play and made sure they met the markers of the types of games that I had told him I played. He recommended two games I probably would have never picked up on my own (The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, and The Last of Us), which will really help me to broaden my game play. I then chose to put back the Final Fantasy game I had originally come in to look for and thought about other games I've played and completed (or not), and asked him if they had the Harry Potter Lego game on PS4, even if it was full price. He grabbed the only copy off of the shelf, and it was a surprise to see that it was actually pre-owned game in the wrong place. I wound up leaving with none of the games I had originally intended on purchasing, spent more money on Ben's recommended games and I couldn't have been happier. I was also telling Ben that I was nervous about buying a pre-owned game since I got burned on the last copy of Lego Harry Potter that I bought since it was after the 30 day mark when I finally found the glitch in the game which wouldn't allow me to play any further than the first year. He informed me that there was a warranty I could purchase, for a minimal fee ($1-3 each), that would cover the lifetime of the game. All in all, Ben had excellent knowledge of the PS4 games, understood what kinds of games I would be interested in based on the games I told him that I played, and made sure that I knew that I could protect my purchases with the warranties. I've already decided that he will be my "go-to" guy whenever I have questions...
Read moreStaff were incredibly rude and slow. They just sit on there phone and dont help with anything. I went on a Tuesday asking for a ps3 controller which they had three acording to the lady. I decided to not buy it at the time and rerurned the next day. Once I actually got them to help me the guy never looked in the system and came out from the back with a used knockoff ps3 controller. I assumed they sold the other three somehow in less than 24hrs. After paying 20 bucks for a used controller that cost 25 bucks brand new I left the store and opened the zip lock baggie it was in. Two of the buttons were completely worn down to the point that the decals on them were gone, it was very dirty and incredibly sticky from no one even bothering to clean it off. I'm not one to conain often so I took it home anyway just to find that the joystick was completly broken and unresponsive. There is no way they even checked it when it was traded in for probably a dollar or two. Now I have to go back to the crazy mall just to return something because the employes at this location do not do there job at all. Do not go here at least try Washington Blvrd or fort mead location if you want to get...
Read moreI had just got my son a ps4 for his 11th birthday this year and we had a plethora of older systems and accessories and games. Knowing that he would never touch them again I figured it might be a good idea to trade them in and get him some extra things for his new system. So my oldest son and I gathered everything we could find and called this location and asked if it would be worth trading in for store credit. The gentleman said yes and if we wanted to come by they weren't busy and they could go through everything we had. So we went over and they took their time going through the ridiculous amount of stuff we had. After all said and done we ended up with a little more than 200$ so we got an extra controller, a 3 month subscription to ps4 and a few games!...
