I’m a DoorDash driver in the Burlington area/zone and since new ownership has taken over, I’ve noticed a lot of the orders from there have been unusually low paying offers. Of course there’s going to be good and bad runs with the gig but it just seemed too often for the bad. I then noticed an order I picked up as a DoorDash driver was an UberEats order? I thought this was odd and it was one of my regular customers that I see when I’m dashing. After I completed the order it showed no tip was paid out to me. As I was doing that, the customer said: “you got that tip I applied yeah?” This struck me as weird and only because I knew him and felt comfortable I asked him to show me what the tip amount was. The amount was $5, which is more than I got paid for the whole delivery! I’ve noticed this on numerous occasions now and there seems to be no sign of slowing down. So it seems as if the new ownership is skimming certain UberEats delivery orders and not paying us dashers what we are owed. Hope this is investigated and resolved! I also tried to place an order to be delivered for myself through DoorDash today and I live right down Dorset Street and it said my address was out of zone? New staff also seems disinterested and have a lot of trouble whenever there’s any kind of rush of orders. Glad to have the best wings/tenders in town back around but there’s some room for...
Read moreThe food is consistently good, but the service and wait times are terrible. I placed a takeout order that was supposed to be ready in thirty minutes. I got to the restaurant at exactly the time in which it was estimated to be ready, and gave the employee working behind the register my name. She told us it wasn’t ready yet, but that my order would be out next. As I waited, I watched employees bring out about fifteen orders to her as she stood on her phone, and gestured for any incoming customers to use the kiosk to order, rather than place an order through her. Between scrolls on her phone, she checked the names on a few bags as they came out. After about thirty minutes of waiting, she re-checked the names on the orders and called out mine. My order was one of the FIRST to come out— my food sat on the counter, getting cold, for thirty minutes before I received it. She was extremely cold to any customers checking in about the wait time on their orders, which is why I didn’t ask her sooner about the status of my takeout. Extremely disappointing behavior, as my family and I are loyal, long-time customers of this...
Read moreBeen going to this Business ever since they opened 8 plus years ago so with sad heart I have to say I'm looking for a different chicken shop because now the tenders are just big limpy, hot pieces of chicken that has a slight flavor to it. The chicken seems like it's not cooked in the flavor ...It's not cooked in the sauce or soaked in the sauce long enough... the word of the day is ...crispy or extra crispy ... 5 times I've been there since the new Owners and i've asked for extra crispy each time and tonite again got limpy no taste chicken...what the Hell.. I got limp hot limpy, tasteless, not crispy chicken again...Ive read some reviews, and they have a problem about crispy. People does not want wet limpy, hot chicken. They want crispy chicken. They want to watch a sports game with crispy chicken that has a taste. That's cooked or soaked in it in the sauce, not flashed soaked. It has no flavor...... The word of the day is crispy. Extra crispy...wings over Burlington needs too look up the word crispy means... actually, what the word crispy means crispy crunchy a little dry.......
