Karen's Custom Toe Rings — Local services in South Padre Island

I really thought I would like this place I wanted to purchase a toe ring a few years back but wasn’t able to get a fitting at that time so I just grabbed a bracelet that I loved for years after. However this time I was finally able to get in a fitting and the first ring he put on I guess was too small but I didn’t know because he said there was still room so I went next door and saw they too had toe rings and figured maybe I would get one from them as well. So I tried to take it off to see what size I needed and it wouldn’t come off so I went back to Karen’s toe ring and he tried taking it off and ended up ripping my skin off on the top of my toe and giving me a blood blister on the bottom. He switched out the size and I asked if we could maybe just keep it off to let my toe calm down especially since I was leaving that day. He put it on anyways and then my toe just kept swelling my toe was turning purple and it hurt very badly. That night once I got home on July 23rd I tried messaging them asking what I should do as I didn’t really want to cut it off since I just had spent over $50 on it. Well fast forward to today august 11th still no response but I was finally able to get the ring off after having it be swollen this whole time. The skin on my toe still has not healed and is still raw… plus the gold toe ring that I was told would last for years has already started turning silver. So I don’t really recommend coming here, the guy was nice but I definitely feel like there should have been something done when he cut off my skin and at least responded to me when I reached out for help later on, plus it shouldn’t be turning...

You can not possibly find a warmer welcome than from Karen & Mike, the owners of this quaint and oh so very special custom toe ring/ jewelry store. I moved to the island 10 months ago and was told that the best place to get a toe ring was at Karen’s so when one of my besties came to visit off we went to get our “matching toe rings!” What we got that day was was sooo much more than cool matching toe jewelry... we had great conversation and lots of giggles with the owners and left with big smiles on our faces having made two wonderful new friends in Karen & Mike. Since that first venture I decided that “Karen’s Custom Toe Rings” would be at the top of my list of “Best Things to do in Padre!” I have brought in every female family member and friend that has come to visit and everyone receives that same warm welcome, gets fitted with their own beautiful toe ring (lol or Rings... some can’t decide and buy 2 or 3;) and leaves having experienced something unique and very special. I even took my beautiful 82 year old Aunt and she is now Rocking her Fabulous Toe Ring!! Thank You Karen & Mike for making sooo much more than Gorgeous Jewelry ... thank you for making Treasured...

Karen and Mike are an amazing couple, their store is gorgeous. My husband and I have known Karen and Mike for about 15 years or longer. I still have my first original toe rings that I purchased and the first thumb ring I purchased from them and I still wear them. The anklets, the bracelets, and the rings are the best I have ever purchased from any jewelry store. I wear my bracelets 24/7 I rarely take them off. Their hospitality and customer service is above a 10. I have a very nice collection from them. I usually spend anywhere from $400 to almost $1000. I cannot speak enough about Karen and Mike.
