DeSoto County Veterans Park — Local services in Southaven

First, if you served in any of the armed services, Thank You'. This is a great little park with lots of information on each of the wars the U.S. has participated in. There are several benches and picnic tables around the pond where you can sit and reflect on whatever your heart desires. I visit this park from time to time when I come and visit my daughter. It has deteriorated over the past couple years. It appears no one is maintaining it. Wood benches are falling apart. Someone has placed small US flags by each of the branches but do not check on them. I go with my daughter when she walks he dogs and because the sticks are so small, most are knocked over.
