Bought a sofa and 2 rocker/ recliners on Oct. 31st. Delivered Nov 3 rd. So far⦠GREAT! Love the furniture, except for one of the Ashley Dorset Recliners continues to rock when reclined. Since we took out the extra Warranty we wasnāt concerned. Called Fergusonās the day after delivery. Scott ( our salesman) said someone would be out Monday or Tuesday to fix it. Then we get a call saying it will be the following week and Bill ( the repairman) would be calling to give a day and time. NO CALL! I called Monday 15 th. Spoke with Scott ( original salesman) and was told to call Wintersville and ask for service. This girl told us they are so far behind, but will have Lori call when she comes in @11:30. Lori called and AGAIN we are told Bill ( repairman) will be calling Monday or Tuesday (15 th or 16 th). As of tonight Nov. 16th. AGAINā¦..no phone call and no idea when the chair will be fixed. As previously stated, we love the furniture, had a great salesman, delivery was fast, but if you have problems with the furniture, be prepared for the runaround to have it fixed even with the extra warranty. But let me tell you the first time we walked into both locations we were overwhelmed with many great quality selections. Letās just say furniture overload. My family met our salesperson who we felt was part of the family instantly!!! Wasnāt bothersome, she didnāt follow us around the store but let me say one thingā¦ā¦ā¦We learned a lot of product knowledge for those 5 hours that seemed like 30 minutes. Her name was Christa Tollman in the St Clairsville location. For a commissioned salesperson she was friendly, approachable, listened to our needs &&& had us all focus down to a couple of choices rather than the ten we liked. We went in this location wanting a living room set and walked out with that plus a dining room set & bedroom set while using their financing was really fast and easy to fill out. My sales person was a new employee, Matthew, who willingly took on the task of helping me choose my furniture. We spent four hours together looking at, talking about and finalizing my choices. He was a perfect gentleman, very patient, knowledgeable about the products and helpful making informed choices on fabrics and finishes. When he did not know the answer to my questions, he found out, even calling a company for one of them. This could have been an overwhelming, daunting task, but with his calm, steady, keeping things on track and moving along demeanor, it was relatively painless, having not bought furniture since the eighties! When I left Fergusonās that day I felt that together we had done the very best job we could have so that I would be happy, have no regrets or second guesses and be able to joyfully look forward to my furniture arriving and getting it home to be enjoyed for many...
