GameStop — Local services in St. Clairsville

Absolutely ridiculous how GameStop in Saint C treats people. I have not preordered from GameStop in years. I remember why now. Took 2 store locations and 2+ hrs to get the switch preordered. They couldn’t even get my trade ins right. Argued that a bag is better to carry a console in, than the box that the console came in??? I was blamed my the manager for there short staffing and it being a launch day. All but 1 employee was super rude. The manager was the worse. She could have helped knowing how bad the situation was,she walked off and said bbbyyyeeeee to her employee and left him there all alone. Worse part I was the only customer at both locations when I was sent to the other location. Then the manager told me I need to be patient when they were screwing the trade ins up, I even stepped to the side and they must have answered the phone 40 times. No wonder it took 2 hrs. I came after lunch. Worse preorder experience ever. Being this could be GameStop’s last midnight console launch,I’m beginning to see why people don’t go to game stop. Crap price in trade ins. Terrible experience. Treated poorly. Online downloads and Amazon consoles it is. Even thinking about canceling my switch 2 preorders. Just so I don’t have to go to them stores again.

If I could give a F- or a -1 Star I would. Kyle is the only good employee the rest should be fired immediately

I have always loved coming to this location not only for it’s products, but for it’s cleanliness and friendly staff as well. A good example of this is the last time I went I met an extremely helpful, kind, and informative employee by the name Michael. He helped explain different product and informed me of each one I asked about. Even when I had bought my product and came back about 30 minutes later he still was very welcoming and willing to answer any question I had. I hope this employee is rewarded for his kindness and has earned my respect. I would recommend this GameStop to anyone in the Saint...

Well kept,friendly people,redhead lady is awesome and good selection! The one downside that I have is multiple times I have gone for a specific game and, with it not being there, they kindly inform me that they will order it for me..... Just sayin, call ahead if you want a "specific" game. If they don't have it, I'm sure you can manage ordering it yourself.........
