Definitely would not recommend anyone to use the self-return option at this Kohl’s location. I saw this as an option inside the store and thought it would be quicker to do than using the traditional return option. This was a big mistake.
After submitting the return in-store on Saturday (according to the exact instructions), I received a confirmation email with the return # stating that the return would be processed within 24 hours. After which, i would receive a refund confirmation email. None of which happened.
I called the store on Thursday, to let them know that I never received a confirmation email. The supervisor stated that the item wasn’t there and that I’d have to call customer service to get a refund. I asked if it would be possible for them to check the camera’s and she stated that it was not possible to do so and the situation was out of their hands because it had been past 48 hours since I submitted the return. She also stated that employees check the return box every 2 hours 🙄.
In all, the self-return option “sounds” like a good idea but I wouldn’t try it, especially at this location. Im not sure if an employee took the item that I dropped off or another customer took it, but I think it would definitely be easier for an employee to get away with this if the store can simply say “it’s out of our hands, call...
Read moreI was at this location this past Saturday particularly in the Sephora section. I’m currently preparing for my daughter’s graduation and luncheon. So I was trying to find the shade of foundation and form such as matte. My daughter and I went from one brand to another. There was four associates who walked back and forth across us in front of us. Not one asked did we need help. I said well maybe it’s a self efficient store. Not true because customers who in after us were immediately greeted and asked if they needed assistance. So we were on the aisle adjacent to the registers I thought we would get assistance then. The associates gathered at the register held personal conversation still acted as if we were invisible. I spoke out loud “we’ve been in this section over twenty minutes no one has even greeted us”. Finally across the room an associate states oh if you need any assistance just let me know just very dry as if she was being forced to say this. I shouldn’t have but made my purchase because I found my favorite perfume along with the perfect foundation. I asked her why did it take so long to greet me? Do I look unapproachable? Kohl's makes it extremely easy to return your Amazon purchases because they do all of the work for you!! No need to worry about packing it up, having cushioning material or tape on hand or labels. Just a smart phone is all that is needed. A Kohl's 25% off discount coupon is then offered to you after completing your return!!! So whatever didn't work out with your Amazon purchase, you now have a convenient, hands-on & eyes-on way to shop in a brick and mortar store!! GENIUS🔔🔔....because it's also now 25% less than whatever $price is marked.
