Johnny's TV — Local services in Stillwater

I hate to be the one to bust up a "good review" party but I'm going to. They tried to charge me $372.00(before my discount was applied) to hang a 42' in TV in my office. Outlandish. Not even remotely market competitive. They also decided to charge me 65.00 to plug my TV in and let it sit there with it on to determine whether there was a problem with it which there wasn't.

They invoiced me for the install and never actually quoted me a price. David's(the owner) excuse or reply to that was "you never asked". Which is obviously why they felt they could charge me 372.00 in the first place.

We're not through yet... when I called them 4 mos later after they continued to send me invoices I told them that I never agreed to that price, which I didn't because again they never EVER mentioned a price. I had them come and remove the TV from the wall and take their brackets back. Well now, the TV doesn't work since they removed it from the wall and the want to charge me again to look at it and determine what's wrong with it. I'm a business owner and so I hate to say this but it wouldn't surprise me if the place was still around in a year or...

So nice they have stuck around over the years. Not everyone is into stream lining movies. The one and only rent DVD places around. Have always been treated very well. Repairs can be done there or they will come to you. My parents are elderly and technology has passed them by far. Hard to see the folks program there new devices. Johnnys to the rescue! They come out and do it all. The only thing I would like to see is longer hours. Not everyone likes to do the Best buy thing. Nice to see hometown businesses still standing. Johnnys is the place...

My 2 year-old Brava TV screen was 'frozen'. I googled how to fix it--but none of the remedies worked. I was stressed as I am the opposite of being a techie. Without an appt., I walked into Johnny's TV to ask someone could make a house call to repair it. That same afternoon, "Johnny" came and did his magic. He knew his stuff! I was so impressed. Also, since the house call was shorter than anticipated, the charge was quite minimal. Love...
