Black Letter Books — Local services in Stillwater

I am from Minneapolis, but make periodic trips to Stillwater solely to dig around at Black Letter. They never fail to amaze me with their well-curated selection of reasonably-priced, rare books, and with a pleasant atmosphere to boot. There's no sifting through junk here, virtually every single book here has something unique about it.

Awesome little bookstore, great selection of the old and the new. There are a number of limited edition and/or signed books available for purchase. They had a wide selection- something for everyone - children’s books, poetry, literature, history, art, books about books. You’d have to try pretty hard not to find something interesting. The staff member working was super friendly, helpful and even could easily recall what was currently on the shelves. Highly recommend...

This bookstore is so awesome. Beautiful books, some new some old. Great one of a kind seeming finds. Very cute classic children’s books. Felt really nice to shop here. Much better than Barnes.
