In the ten years I have been in this country, I've never come across a school that fits my needs as perfectly as Sofia Art Academy does. I've found no other place where I feel so at ease and enjoy learning so much. The days on which I have class are the best days of my week —even when I am working on a project that is difficult or challenging!

One of the things that matter the most to me is to know that my teacher is as passionate about art as I am, and he takes my craft and work seriously while still making the classes enjoyable and not intimidating. The learning environment is fun, positive and focused, and it's evident how much Igor cares about each student. I've gained a lot of confidence since beginning my studies a few months ago and already find myself understanding concepts that seemed impossible before, which has given me more confidence in my art.

I should add that I've been working as a professional illustrator for ten years and went to other private schools in my country. Yet nowhere else was I taught the basic and invaluable concepts of Classical Art that I am learning at Sofia Art Academy. You can benefit from learning here regardless of your level of experience or skill.

While the tuition is not cheap, you definitely get your money's worth and beyond, especially if you compare the cost with that of a college where you will not get the same quality of education and level of individual attention you get here. It's hard to put a price on that and it makes a huge difference in the end results. Just by going to this school once a week my life and career went into a much more positive and determined direction this year and I hope to attend for several more years in the future. If you are looking for good quality art classes, this is it. Before the Academy opened in the area, my family and I looked everywhere for art classes that would help me get to where I wanted to be. The search took me to various locations throughout Miami, but every school ended up a disappointment; the classes were overcrowded and they did not help on a one-on-one basis. The teachers were skilled, but the environment and the way they operated was obviously in the interest of business and making profit, not education.

I soon found out about the Academy about a month or so after the Miami branch opened. I wasn't sure what to expect considering all that I have gone through for nothing worthwhile. In the end however, I signed up for the course.

I have been going to the Academy for almost three years and what I've learned cannot be properly summarized. The improvements I've made spans beyond my artwork; I've gained a new sense of confidence and love for what I do. The small class size and location makes it ideal for someone like myself that cannot concentrate in large crowds and noisy places, The teachers, who are all very,very skilled, are there to help you grow. My story with the Sofia Art Academy studio began a year ago when I decided to realize my old dream on canvas. The first thing that struck me was the atmosphere of creativity and inspiration that reigns here. Upon arrival, I felt this was the house where I could develop my artistic abilities. As a director and teacher, Igor is an outstanding artist and an excellent mentor. His professional skill and understanding of art is immensely inspiring. He has a unique gift for explaining complex concepts and techniques in a way that makes them accessible to even beginning students.
