THEN I MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH OZ TO GO TO THE STORE IN PERSON. HE WAS FRIENDLY ON THE PHONE AND HE WAS FRIENDLY IN PERSON. I WAS LOOKING FOR A MATTRESS, A BOX SPRING, PILLOWS, AND BED COVERS. ETC. THE STORE WAS CLEAN AND NEAT. THE BATHROOMS WERE CLEAN AND NEAT. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST ROOMS TO GO STORES IN THE WORLD AND ESPECIALLY IN TEXAS. OZ WAS VERY FRIENDLY. š¤ OZ IS THE VERY BEST SELLS MAN. HE'S SO SMART AND KIND. HE REALLY DOES CARE. HE KNOWS HOW TO SELL THE FURNITURE AND EVERYTHING AT THE STORE. HE IS BRILLIANT. HE WORKS VERY HARD AT THE COLONY, TEXAS ROOMS TO GO. HE MAKES YOU FEEL WELCOME. AT HOME! HE DOESN'T FORCE YOU TO BUY ANYTHING. IF YOU JUST WANTED TO COME IN LOOK AT EVERYTHING THAT'S AWESOME. THAT'S OKAY. NO PRESSURE TO BUY ANYTHING. PLEASE ASK FOR OZ IF YOU NEED ANYTHING OR ANY HELP. AGAIN NO PRESSURE AT ALL. YES HIS NAME IS OZ. NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER AND I'M VERY PICKY! HE DOES THE VERY BEST HE CAN. HE'S PERFECT TO WORK WITH AS MYSELF A GUEST/CUSTOMER AT THE STORE. AND NO, I DON'T WORK HERE. IT WAS MY FIRST TIME SHOPPING THERE. I'M WAS AN AMAZING AND SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE. WHEN I GOT TO THE FRONT DOOR THERE WAS SOMEBODY THAT GREETED ME. AND I WAS HAPPY ABOUT THAT. I ASKED THAT I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT WITH OZ. SOMEONE THAT WORKED THERE CALLED HIM AND TOLD HIM THAT I WAS HERE AND HE CAME TO THE FRONT IMMEDIATELY I DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT LONG FOR HIM TO MEET HIM AND SEE WHAT THEY HAD FOR ME FOR MATTRESSES AND ETC. I'M GLAD THAT I STOPPED BY THIS PARTICULAR STORE. I'M VERY HAPPY THAT I DID. OZ MADE MY DAY MUCH BETTER. NO I DID NOT BUT ANYTHING YET AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO TO BUY ANYTHING AT THE FIRST TIME THAT I WALKED IN THE STORE. BUT I WILL IN THE NEAR FUTURE IF EVERYTHING WORKS OUT FOR MYSELF. $$$$$$. In 2023, I purchased a dining set from RTG, along with a protection plan. Recently I filed a warranty claim, I was approved to reselect a new table. At no point was I told, either in the store, over the phone, or in the paperwork, that this also required returning the four dining chairs. I proceeded in good faith, believing the reselection was for the table only.
The situation quickly spiraled. The delivery went through even though I tried to stop it once I realized there was confusion. Later, I was told I now owe nearly $800 for chairs I never agreed to return or repurchase. Despite explaining the situation multiple times (to their staff, through the BBB, and even the Texas Attorney Generalās office), Rooms To Go continues to demand payment. I even offered a $200 settlement simply to close this matter and avoid unnecessary stress, but my emails have gone unanswered. Instead, I keep receiving collection-style letters and calls, which is both frustrating and disheartening.
What makes this worse is that Iāve spent nearly $10,000 furnishing my home with Rooms To Go and had recommended them to friends based on their reputation. This entire experience of miscommunication, lack of accountability, and silence from their corporate office has completely eroded my trust.
To add insult to injury, a separate warranty issue with my TV console, which should have been a straightforward parts replacement, was simply canceled by Rooms To Go without notice, seemingly because of this unrelated dispute. That shows me this is not about customer service, itās about deflecting responsibility.
I donāt normally write reviews, but I feel itās important to warn others. Once youāre locked into a dispute with Rooms To Go, even one caused by their own unclear communication, you may end up with a balance you never agreed to, ignored emails, and potential credit risk.
At this point, Iām simply disappointed. I expected a company of this size to take accountability, communicate clearly, and stand behind their word. Instead, theyāve left a loyal customer feeling stressed,...
Ā Ā Ā Read more11/04/2020 I came back to update my review, at first Hadi seemed real guinuen. The day we went we just walked in looking we didn't have a budget in mind. My husband liked the sectional, bedroom set and kitchen table we got. Okay so we knew there would be a wait, but hadi had said we would get our order oct. 9th come to find out it wasn't till oct. 20th that we got our order. I called and of course got the run around. When we noticed there was two things missing he kept telling me that it wasn't in my order. Well of course it wasn't cause my order was already in my BRAND NEW HOUSE missing the two things. We are not the people to ask for discounts nor free stuff. When I called to ask him why we didn't have the recliner that we knew was not included with the sectional and why we didn't have one night stand as he had mentioned we would have, all he could say it was not part of my order. I understand that I am not asking to get anything free what pisses me off is that we told him MULTIPLE times we wanted the recliner we even said even if we wernt to get the sectional we want the recliner and we left thinking it was added to wait almost 3 months not to recieve it!!... now we have to go back and buy it separately!!...
Next thing! We spent about 5000$ on our stuff brand new house with white creamy walls and carpet. The delivery men really didn't care that we spent almost 5000 on the furniture nor the amount we spent on our house and stained our carpet and walls.
The reason for my 1 start is cause once I mentioned that to Hadi it was hard to get a hold of him!! Cancel what I said and go else where or use a different sales person.
We had initially gone to NFM just to window shop. The prices over there were a little to much for us. We drove pass Rooms to Go and decided to stop and look we were greeted by many buy our Help was Hadi. Hadi was patient and knowledgeable at the end we ended up purchasing a livingroom set, bedroom set and kitchen table. Hadi helped out in what he could and was real patient. If you are looking for furniture come to rooms to go and ask for Hadi he will make the process easy.
