11/04/2020 I came back to update my review, at first Hadi seemed real guinuen. The day we went we just walked in looking we didn't have a budget in mind. My husband liked the sectional, bedroom set and kitchen table we got. Okay so we knew there would be a wait, but hadi had said we would get our order oct. 9th come to find out it wasn't till oct. 20th that we got our order. I called and of course got the run around. When we noticed there was two things missing he kept telling me that it wasn't in my order. Well of course it wasn't cause my order was already in my BRAND NEW HOUSE missing the two things. We are not the people to ask for discounts nor free stuff. When I called to ask him why we didn't have the recliner that we knew was not included with the sectional and why we didn't have one night stand as he had mentioned we would have, all he could say it was not part of my order. I understand that I am not asking to get anything free what pisses me off is that we told him MULTIPLE times we wanted the recliner we even said even if we wernt to get the sectional we want the recliner and we left thinking it was added to wait almost 3 months not to recieve it!!... now we have to go back and buy it separately!!... Next thing! We spent about 5000$ on our stuff brand new house with white creamy walls and carpet. The delivery men really didn't care that we spent almost 5000 on the furniture nor the amount we spent on our house and stained our carpet and walls. The reason for my 1 start is cause once I mentioned that to Hadi it was hard to get a hold of him!! Cancel what I said and go else where or use a different sales person. We had initially gone to NFM just to window shop. The prices over there were a little to much for us. We drove pass Rooms to Go and decided to stop and look we were greeted by many buy our Help was Hadi. Hadi was patient and knowledgeable at the end we ended up purchasing a livingroom set, bedroom set and kitchen table. Hadi helped out in what he could and was real patient. If you are looking for furniture come to rooms to go and ask for Hadi he will make the process easy. Thank you Hadi A. And rooms to go.

I usually don't give one stars but this is a special occasion. I recently bought a couch and carpet from RTG since i moved into town. Mind you, I bought them at separate times. The sales lady told me that she will ensure both will be shipped together so I can put the carpet down first and then the couch. On the day of the delivery, only the couch arrives. I was informed if I don't take the couch this issue could go on for over a month and a half. After talking to a representative at this RTG, she informed me that the team that will bring the carpet will take apart the couch and put the carpet down and put it back. I then signed the papers for the couch. I would just slide the sectional over and put the carpet down but how would I get the whole couch back on. Just this past Saturday, the carpet comes but the delivery team said they don't take apart couches because of legal ramifications. Which is perfectly understandable. Apparently that is a policy at RTG, the delivery team just drops of the item and leaves. I talked to the manager and he said someone will come out to help with the situation. I have yet to receive an update. So I have a carpet in my living room leaning against the wall. I called customer service and they said in the notes of the manager I talked to said that the customer would handle the carpet on their own. Meaning there is no help coming. They usually have a follow up call after the item is delivered for quality assurance. I told the lady my situation and she mentioned that someone will get back to me ASAP. That was Saturday and I have yet to receive an update. I think the quality is good but the people lie just to get you off the phone or they do it just to make a sale. There are other locations that are better choices for furniture.

We purchased our OUTDOOR sectional with Sunbrella fabric (supposedly)- less than 3 months ago! We were asked if we wanted to buy the so called warranty that would cover damage. We were told repeatedly in store to purchase to cover damages. So we did thinking it would be covered. In less than 3 months the fabric, that was UNDER a covered patio has completely faded and discolored. On top and bottom. We called rooms to go and they claimed they couldn’t cover it and sent us to Fortega who then claimed Rooms to go should cover it. I then spoke with rooms to go customer service twice and they were very unhelpful. This is ridiculous given this is OUTDOOR furniture and supposedly SUNBRELLA fabric. I fully understand that some fading can occur but this is clearly NOT Sunbrella fabric so be warned when buying outdoor furniture from Rooms to go. There is even discoloration underneath the cushions. Very unhappy given the price we paid for this. I should mention I have friends who’ve had Sunbrella fabric for years under the sun and under patios and never experienced this. Makes me wonder if they are selling a faulty/fake product! The warranty is clearly a scam. They’ll take your money, but when something actually goes wrong, they find every excuse not to cover it.

I WANTED TO ASK MY MANY I GOT TO SPEAK ON THE PHONE WITH OZ THEN I ASKED MY QUESTIONS FIRST I CALLED FIRST BEFORE COMING TO ROOMS TO GO IN THE COLONY TEXAS HOWDY, HOPE YOU ARE DOING WELL. THEN I MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH OZ TO GO TO THE STORE IN PERSON. HE WAS FRIENDLY ON THE PHONE AND HE WAS FRIENDLY IN PERSON. I WAS LOOKING FOR A MATTRESS, A BOX SPRING, PILLOWS, AND BED COVERS. ETC. THE STORE WAS CLEAN AND NEAT. THE BATHROOMS WERE CLEAN AND NEAT. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST ROOMS TO GO STORES IN THE WORLD AND ESPECIALLY IN TEXAS. OZ WAS VERY FRIENDLY. 🤠 OZ IS THE VERY BEST SELLS MAN. HE'S SO SMART AND KIND. HE REALLY DOES CARE. HE KNOWS HOW TO SELL THE FURNITURE AND EVERYTHING AT THE STORE. HE IS BRILLIANT. HE WORKS VERY HARD AT THE COLONY, TEXAS ROOMS TO GO. HE MAKES YOU FEEL WELCOME. AT HOME! HE DOESN'T FORCE YOU TO BUY ANYTHING. IF YOU JUST WANTED TO COME IN LOOK AT EVERYTHING THAT'S AWESOME. I'M GLAD THAT I STOPPED BY THIS PARTICULAR STORE. I'M VERY HAPPY THAT I DID. OZ MADE MY DAY MUCH BETTER. I want to share my experience with Rooms To Go (Colony Store and Customer Care) so that others are aware before making a purchase.

In 2023, I purchased a dining set from RTG, along with a protection plan. Recently I filed a warranty claim, I was approved to reselect a new table. At no point was I told, either in the store, over the phone, or in the paperwork, that this also required returning the four dining chairs. I proceeded in good faith, believing the reselection was for the table only.

The situation quickly spiraled. The delivery went through even though I tried to stop it once I realized there was confusion. Later, I was told I now owe nearly $800 for chairs I never agreed to return or repurchase. Despite explaining the situation multiple times (to their staff, through the BBB, and even the Texas Attorney General’s office), Rooms To Go continues to demand payment. I even offered a $200 settlement simply to close this matter and avoid unnecessary stress, but my emails have gone unanswered. Instead, I keep receiving collection-style letters and calls, which is both frustrating and disheartening.

What makes this worse is that I’ve spent nearly $10,000 furnishing my home with Rooms To Go and had recommended them to friends based on their reputation. This entire experience of miscommunication, lack of accountability, and silence from their corporate office has completely eroded my trust.

To add insult to injury, a separate warranty issue with my TV console, which should have been a straightforward parts replacement, was simply canceled by Rooms To Go without notice, seemingly because of this unrelated dispute. That shows me this is not about customer service, it’s about deflecting responsibility.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I feel it’s important to warn others. Once you’re locked into a dispute with Rooms To Go, even one caused by their own unclear communication, you may end up with a balance you never agreed to, ignored emails, and potential credit risk.

At this point, I’m simply disappointed. I expected a company of this size to take accountability, communicate clearly, and stand behind their word. Instead, they’ve left a loyal customer feeling stressed,...

I understand that I am not asking to get anything free what pisses me off is that we told him MULTIPLE times we wanted the recliner we even said even if we wernt to get the sectional we want the recliner and we left thinking it was added to wait almost 3 months not to recieve it!!... now we have to go back and buy it separately!!...

Next thing! We spent about 5000$ on our stuff brand new house with white creamy walls and carpet. The delivery men really didn't care that we spent almost 5000 on the furniture nor the amount we spent on our house and stained our carpet and walls.

The reason for my 1 start is cause once I mentioned that to Hadi it was hard to get a hold of him!! Cancel what I said and go else where or use a different sales person.

We had initially gone to NFM just to window shop. The prices over there were a little to much for us. We drove pass Rooms to Go and decided to stop and look we were greeted by many buy our Help was Hadi. Hadi was patient and knowledgeable at the end we ended up purchasing a livingroom set, bedroom set and kitchen table. Hadi helped out in what he could and was real patient. If you are looking for furniture come to rooms to go and ask for Hadi he will make the process easy.
