I was here a few weeks ago with my daughter. Originally, we purchased a homecoming dress online but when it arrive my daughter hated the dress. The dress didn't look the at all the same in person as it did online. This day we shopped at 6 different store for her dress with no luck and her homecoming was two days away. This was our first time shopping at American Threads and it was the easiest shopping experience yet. We were greeted by a lovely girls, Charlie and Meghan. They helped us shop for my daughter's dresses and listened as we complained about the horrible shopping experiences we've had. Apparently we are in good company, as most mothers are having the same issue. Charlie even asked for a photo of the dress we thought we were purchasing to see if they had anything similar. Unfortunately, they didn't have the dress my daughter wanted but she showed us a lot of options. They kept pulling styles until we found one we loved. I just sat in their dressing room area and they did all of the shopping for us. Charlie and Meghan were the sweetest girls and made this horrible experience end on a great note. The store manager, who said her name was Charlie, not only discriminated against us, but also refused to clarify if the name on the receipt (B.R. Hunter) was the associateās first or last name, and would not explain their return policy properly. After I asked for store credit as a compromise, she still refused and called security, asking me to leave. When Security arrived, she lied, while I stood their listening, I decided to leave, walking out with Security, he expressed that he thought she was just as ridiculous to refuse to not refund, after he asked her. On Friday, When I was ready to try on the clothes I picked out, the team had additional selections they picked out for me to try on in the dressing room. They went as far to ask me what I was shopping for and came up with different ideas and suggestions. I ended up purchasing items that I myself did not pick out, but the girls pick out. For that I will be a repeat customer. It was a full team effort to give such great customer service, and you wonāt find that at any other clothing store in the mall. You go girls!!
