Bigotes Street Tacos - The Woodlands Mall — Restaurant in The Woodlands

03/10/22 I visited this restaurant ( Kuykendahl location )after a 12hr work shift with my daughter who had just gotten off work herself. I ordered nachos and she ordered volcanes. My nachos came out first and they were cold. I talked to the young guy at the front ( Salvador ) and let him know my food was cold. He took the plate back and said they'd refix it. My daughters did then came out smoking hot. Second attempt on my order. Food was returned well plated but was room temperature. I voiced my frustration again with Salvador which then told me they have waisted money two times refixing my order and he don't know what to tell me. The cook came out Carlos and stated he made the meal his self and it was hot. I told him to stick his finger in it because at this point I no longer have an appetite. He touched food then walked off. No one returned to the table just continued shutting down restaurant. At this point my daughter and I are the only people in the restaurant. I ask Salvador for a refund he said No because it's Text Mex food and it doesn't come out hot. We exchange words back and forth ( unacceptable) and he told me he still wasn't giving a refund or a credit to return. This was the worst experience I've every had and I will be in contact with the BBB with my next complaint.Customer service could have been better considering prices of everything is going up and people can just stay home and cook hot food without the...

So, I really like this place, but the recent changes have disappointed me to the point where I'll not be there as often as I normally would. They used to have a variety of meat options, but they are now down to 4 which are good, but not the ones that I would normally select. Also, one of the main attractions, the free charro beans are no longer free. They have to be added to the meal option if you want them. I go to the mall for lunch regularly because I work in the area, these tacos we're my meal at least once a week - sometimes twice. Now with the limited options and loss of the free charro beans, I'll have to really want their limited options when I'm craving a good taco. The 1 star is not related to the quality of the food but it's more for the recently limited options. I hope they find that it was a mistake to make these moves and bring back the other options they used to have. If not, I'll miss the carnitas, chorizo and barbacoa options and will have to find a replacement. The Baja Cantina is...

Finally done with this place. I found Bigotes in the Woodlands Mall in 2022 and they were fantastic at first. Huge portions, great taste.....but the breakfast tacos almost always had chunks of eggshell in them. Nowadays, they're consistently tiny with about 1/3 of the contents. Always, always, ALWAYS made wrong. Sometimes I'm missing ingredients, sometimes ingredients are added, and other times it's both. The young ladies behind the register are rude and don't pay attention so they don't even put in the order correctly and then roll their eyes at you and question you when you take it back to get it fixed.
