This place just feels like a worse T.J.Maxx. I happen to really enjoy T.J.Maxx and HomeGoods, and Ross just feels like what those stores would be like if they had their identities removed. Both stores manage to inspire a sense of discovery when walking through them in the same way that walking through a thrift store might. There’s nearly nothing you can buy from Ross that you can’t find elsewhere and have a more enjoyable time doing so.
