Jeff and the Miner's North Team are one-of-a-kind, true gems! My husband and I lived in Traverse City for 8 years before moving away a few years ago, during our time in Traverse City we frequented Miner's North for all of our jewelry needs. From wedding rings to gifts, they always had wonderful options for us and great customer service.

Recently, my Lakeshore diamond was chipped, I was devastated. My husband reached out to Miner's and they connected him with Jeff. Jeff was communicative with us from his first email and created a plan to work on possible repair options. Each step of the way, Jeff took care of costs and hassles to make the process as easy as possible for us. Shipping from our new home was easy and he sent us weekly updates on where the ring was and timing for our next step in the process. The final result was one I will forever be grateful for. Jeff and his manufacturer partner were able to recut the diamond and lose an extremely minimal amount of the diamond. When Jeff got the ring back from the manufacturer he and his team polished it up to like-new condition, packaged it up beautifully, and sent it back.

The ring arrived home today and I was full of emotions as going a few months without my beautiful ring was a tough feet for me. Included in our package was a handwritten note from the Miner's North team and a copy of the invoice letting us know Jeff had taken care of the repair costs (all shipping along the way).

While we no longer live in Traverse City, Jeff's acts of service remind us with a smile why we loved the town so very much. The small businesses that make up the community are all unique and one-of-a-kind, full of genuine people who love what they do.

A much-earned 5-STAR REVIEW for Miner's North! Originally, I was apprehensive to take my business here, thinking it was a jewelry store targeting tourists and selling things at high prices. However, several of my friends had had good experiences, and the store had excellent reviews, so I decided to give it a try. It absolutely stood up to its high reviews! Wendy was very helpful in the repair department, helping me resize many rings and have some repair work done. The repair team did a terrific job! I also worked with Michelle, who truly earns her reputation as Top Designer! She worked with me over several months to create a beautiful and dazzling, but not gaudy, Legacy Ring using family heirloom rings and pendents. She is extremely knowledgable and very creative. I am over-the-top happy with the final product! The Customer Service at Miner's North Jewelers is top notch throughout the entire process. Many of the employees have been there over 35 years, which speaks volumes! My phone calls were handled professionally, timely emails were sent keeping me apprised of the status of things and I was always greeted with a smile like I was a friend! I would absolutely, 100%, recommend shopping here for both locals...

I really took the time and did my research before deciding where I wanted to even start looking for my engagement ring. When I found Miners North I was pleasantly surprised at the vast selection they had for engagement rings alone! I loved that they had the “Ring Bar” where you could almost custom made your own ring; and hand select the exact diamond of your desire. We ended up buying my engagement ring, wedding bands, his ring, and a few other pieces of jewelry there. They truly do have something for every budget, and everyone their is so kind and helpful! Not once did we feel pressured to buy something, each time we went in (I stalked my engagement ring for close to a year before he finally got it...). I love that they do all repairs, including sizing right there in the store!
