Arrived 5 minutes after the store should have opened to a locked door and advised by an employee that they were still finishing inventory and to give them another 15 minutes.

It took no more than 5m for them to finish, but once inside, there wasn't much done in the way of assistance. I asked exactly what I was looking for (size 15/16 shoe) and was pointed to the shoe area. I asked the employee whether they had more size 15/16 options and it looked like he walked into the back without a word.

All the while, the manager behind the counter was venting some personal frustrations about how after 12 years they were finally getting out of retail and they were glad to never have to do another inventory again or deal with customers.

I managed to find a pair on my own and checked out before the employee came back out. The lack of general helpfulness will ultimately drive my business to online outlets in the future instead, or at the very worst, a different...
