I really hate to give 3 stars and maybe it will get better as time passes! I grew up in the south where chick fil a is a staple. The employees there are friendly and always respectful no matter what. I've only dined in at this restaurant one time and the drive thru several other times.
My first time dining in the person who took my order was nice but didn't really follow through with the ordering process. I had to tell him my name and what sauces I wanted ect he didn't ask like normal. Good was great.
First time through the drive thru and it was ok but when they took my order at my car I told them I'd be paying cash. Ok please pull forward and they'll give you change. I pull up to the booth and wait for a while and nothing... they finally come over to me and the guy tells me they'll take my money at the register.. ok not sure what's up with that. Finally got up to the window and paid for my order and the person says here's your fruit punch or something like that... nope not my order. Hands me my drink which happens to be a coke and not the lemonade I requested when I ordered but looking through the receipt the order wasn't hear correctly. Fine I like coke so I drank it anyway. The mac and cheese was awesome as was my sandwich. Just missing that perfect customer service.
Today i go through the drive and the person on the other end is super short with me. I tell him my name 3 times before he finally slows down and listens to me. When I get to the window the manager on duty hands me my order. I never check the bags at chick fil a because they always get it right. The food was great and all BUT they forgot my sauce :( it's so sad when you drive off and don't have time to turn around and they forgot my polynesian sauce... it was indicated on the receipt and all. Kind of disappointed considering the manager handed over my order. That should have been checked. The food is great but the customer service needs to be...
Read moreThe food is high quality for fast food. The flavors hit that small happy place between "flavorful" and "too spicy", for me. The service isn't as fast as some places, but it's always been acceptable. (As I've experienced at some places.) The longest I've waited, even during dinner rush, is 15 minutes. Very worth the time.
So much to like about this chain. Every visit has been a positive experience. (I don't work for them, and I don't know anyone who does.) In the last year, I've been to three of their locations totaling more than a dozen times. I have not been able to find a fault (by action or inaction) by any employee.
Every customer was treated like a valued person. All of the interactions between employees (that I could see) were positive and upbeat. (I saw a leader giving feedback to someone, once. It was quiet and quick, and they parted with muted smiles, a polite nod, and a "ok?" "Yes, thank you.")
The maturity and respect I see at every location, by every employee, every single visit has been worthy of five stars. (It's almost as if they were expecting the owner to walk in at any moment... or as if they were prepared to be reviewed by some anonymous internet user.)
I have political conflict with some decisions by the top leadership, but that has nothing to do with the quality of my experiences. The only fault I've found is that they are closed on Sundays, but I respect the thinking behind the decision. (Having a consistent day off provides an anchor from which to 'reset' each week.)
Summary: Good food. Good people. Positive place. I usually leave feeling uplifted and "better" for having supported the business. I'll go out of my way to support them as long as they continue...
Read moreI've always loved Chick Fila, their crispy chicken sandwiches, nuggets and Tenders, but as time goes by, I feel like they are losing their quality. When I come here with my family, everyone orders their chicken sandwich, but for me since I don't like spice but love the deluxe, I order the normal deluxe it with pepperjack cheese. Now I don't get what is so hard about this order, for I am just changing the cheese (from American) but every single time they somehow get it wrong.
Sometimes they still put American cheese, once just this thick cold slab of unmelted pepperjack, and sometimes no cheese at all! I remember them just giving me this really cold piece of chicken with still no cheese when I told them my order was missing. I also don't get if the cheese is supposed to be melted, for it isn't always consistent. There was also this time when they forgot my order all together. 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙖 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙘𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 but has happened to me seven times all together.
My last order with my family, we order 2 spicy deluxes and 1 normal (with pepperjack cheese) and they somehow only gave us ONE spicy deluxe, and two normal deluxes, both with American Cheese? I haven't been to Chick Fila in a month, but 𝒊𝒇I ever do come back, I hope that this issue is fixed and I can finally get my warm crispy Deluxe w/ pepperjack cheese.
P:S what happened to your brownies? I feel like they got less gooey and more hard and crunchy? They still taste...
