Honestly, my family couldn't wait for Olive Garden to come to Twin Falls. We love it so much and go everytime we are in Boise. However, we went a few times since it opened and haven't had such great luck. Which we kind of assumed was because they are still new and needed to get their groove to things. Well, we decided it had been a while and the only thing the kids could agree on was Olive Garden. We went in 30 mins to close and normally I wouldn't do that being a former server myself... but the kids and us parents were starving and I was tired of bickering over where to go. The staff was super friendly and the waitress we got was absolutley AMAZING. Ashley was so patient with us and nice even when my children took FOREVER to order because they were tired and over the day! My 3 month old got fussy and I needed to breastfeed him and she found me a quiet place in the restaurant to feed him so I was comfortable. She was so attentive! And then when our food came out she offered to take my infant so I could eat my food because he didn't want to be set down. She held my baby while I ate and was so sweet to us. I have never in my life been treated so well at an establishment and I am so lucky to have gotten her! Ashley is the reason I will be coming back again more often and honestly if more staff were like her or trained to be half the person she is in general you would be the best rated restaurant in the world. So thank you Olive Garden for hiring such an AMAZING employee, I will be telling just about everyone how great the Olive Garden in Twin Falls is! I hope I can come back and get Ashley as my server again. And if she sees this... Girl! You are a rock star! Thank you so much for your patience and kindness! The world needs more people like you in it! Your the best waitress I have EVER gotten! And FYI, my baby wouldnt let anyone else hold him today because he was so upset, the fact that you held him and he was so calm for 20 mins says alot about your character! You must be a pretty amazing momma!! Again thank you so...
Read moreLast night was my first time visiting this Olive Garden. As to be expected, this restaurant is always very busy, even on a Monday there were still plenty of people. It took our waitress quite a long time to get to us once we were seated, but she was very apologetic and kind so we almost instantly forgot about the wait. The tap water machine was apparently broken so we didn't receive our water until after our food came, in the mean time they bring the soups and salad.
I order the Salmon Piccata. When it arrived the salmon was very very dry and the zucchini side was quite literally RAW. The waitress comes back and asks how everything tastes, I make mention of how the zucchini is sub par and pretty gross. She makes it right and offers a new side. I order steamed broccoli. 20 minutes go by and nothing shows, and we are now full and ready to leave. I mention to the waitress that there's no need for the broccoli, but could she discount it off our bill? She said yes and continues to offer more solutions. Very Polite.
Not 2 minutes later the manager comes to our table and profusely apologizes, and mentions she took the entire meal off of our bill. She offers a free dish to take home or dessert and was insanely generous and consolatory. Couldn't of handled the situation better.
What could of been an average meal that I would of never blinked an eye at again, turned into a pleasant surprise. Because of how well this place is managed-despite common mistakes- I will for sure be back and...
Read moreToday my husband & I decided we’d try out the Olive Garden in Twin Falls. We had never been to this particular Olive Garden before. We went inside & got seated right away. We didn’t go during peak hours so it wasn’t overly busy. We sat in a section with tables & chairs. There was one other table that was filled in that section. Our waitress whose name was Winter did a great job. She is the only reason I gave this rating two stars. Very friendly & attentive. We were seated in a section that was near the entrance to the kitchen. The employees it seemed liked to congregate there. They were talking & laughing really loudly. I talked to our waitress about this, that we came for a quiet dinner date & she said she’d speak with the manager. She came back a little bit later & told us that she did speak with the manager about it. The same behavior continued throughout our time there. I’m not sure who the manager is but at one point Winter asked a man ( after she had spoke with the manager)named Chad to refill our water & breadsticks & I heard him say that’s not my job & I heard someone else say but you’ll do it. He did come out & full our water & then later came back with breadsticks. I was pretty surprised at the lack of discipline in their management. I’ve never seen an Olive Garden ran this way. The waitress is the only one who apologized for their behavior. We didn’t ask to be seated there. They sat us there. I don’t think we will return to that particular Olive...
