I recently visited Lady Jones in Vail, eager to explore their selection of cute and trendy clothes from quality brands. As someone on a staycation from Denver looking to treat myself, I had high expectations for a pleasant shopping experience. Unfortunately, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment due to the unwelcoming atmosphere created by the woman working.
Upon entering, I was not greeted or acknowledged; instead, I received a glare from an older woman working there, with a white bob hairstyle, who offered neither a smile nor assistance. Hoping the initial cold reception might improve, I continued to browse, giving her the opportunity to engage or offer help. Regrettably, that moment never came.
The lack of basic customer service made me feel more like a bother than a valued patron. Despite my genuine interest in supporting Lady Jones by purchasing their merchandise, the unwelcoming vibe compelled me to leave without buying anything.
It's truly unfortunate, as I would have loved to spend my money at this shop. However, service—or the stark absence of it—plays a crucial role in the shopping experience. I hope this feedback is taken to heart, as I believe everyone should feel welcome and valued, regardless of...
Read moreThis boutique is lovely! I needed some kind of footwear (my white shoes got soaked in wine, very sad) in a hurry and am so glad this was the only store open during my not-really-an-emergency-emergency. It might be the only shop in Vail Village that carries casual clothing that I can wear outside of skiing/athleisure and one of few places open past 7pm. I feel super lucky I found Lady Jones at the last minute because the store I planned to go to closed before their advertised 8pm closing time.
The young woman who helped me, Olivia (I hope I’m remembering correctly!) was SO sweet about finding my size and suggesting alternatives. I was able to get in and out in 10 minutes with a pair of Toms boots I LOVE. I’d highly recommend this boutique to any of my friends because of the fashion forward styles, reasonable prices, and exceptional service. I hope anybody reading this at least checks it out! Thanks for a great shopping...
Read moreThis store is adorable with a great selection of clothing. It is probably the best clothing store in Vail. However, the customer service was terrible. My friend and I were trying on sweatshirts, and the employee was so rude to us. She kept following us around the store and re folding items that we were trying on. She was annoyed when we would ask if there were any more sizes in the back. We put a sweatshirt on hold and when we came back, she rolled her eyes at us. We ended up both spending $200 each in the store, which is why it was so upsetting to be treated this way. As we were leaving, she hurried past us and grabbed the clothing items we had touched and ripped them off the shelves because she was so upset her folding was messed up. It was a terrible experience and such a disappointment since it is such...
