Liquor and Wine Warehouse — Local services in Vandalia

Worse experience shopping for alcohol. My husband and I thought we would check the place out, well because we like beer and wine.

Our experience today around 9:30pm: We were not greeted, no one provided any assistance, and as they were getting ready to close a woman came to our aisle and stated, "you have to," and then pointed to the door. My husband and I were planning to buy some beer, but decided to walk out. A better response could have been to ask us if we could wrap it up, and head to the register if we were planning to make a purchase. We will never shop there again. Alcohol is not something you need, but people want. Maybe next time the staff should think about this, before the store finds itself having to close for good, due to poor customer service.

I'm from PA. My parents went on a 16hr road trip to Indianapolis and back to PA. They agreed to stopping at a liqour store for me. I called Liqour and Wine Warehouse a minute after they opened, and one of the nice employees grabbed my parents a bottle of Jack Daniel's Bonded Rye for only $31.99(unavailable in PA)!! A bottle of Jack Daniels single BBP at $65.99 for a nice 127proof!! And Woodford Reserve Double Oaked for only $55.99!! All before taxes. They put it to the side for me prior to my parents getting there. My parents stopped at Liquor, and Wine Warehouse grabbed the bottles and were in and out. Fantastic staff, Great customer service!, good prices, Allocated drops usually on Mondays!! If you're coming off the highway and back up east, it's 5 out of 5 must drive off the highway and back on!!! Cheaper than Fine Wine and Good Spirits(PA)!! I would recommend calling ahead if you are looking for only allocated...

They do NOT honor posted sales prices, which seems to be a theme if you read other reviews. Purchased the item shown and it rang up $22.99 (unfortunately I noticed after I paid) . Before even picking up my items I said it was on sale for $19.99. He said no it isn't , so I showed him a picture of the sales tag. He accused me of that not being from his store. So eventually he went back and pulled the tag off, next his excuse was it was a different size ,s o I presented him the bottle and said no this is the indicated size and item. Then he just ripped up the sales tag and said they only honor the original price. He was incredibly hard to understand , I told him I would post my experience to which he said no refunds and not to come back. Will be reporting them to the State of Ohio as it's not so much about my $3 but how many customers are they...
