Update 26Sept: The feedback below saying to call guest services is false and just lip service to show reviews some āactionā. The manager wrote me this morning and said they arent going to reinstall the toilet because that is how they do the business and it wasnt in the proposal. Make sure you understand their manipulations in pricing. No job should claim completed without toilets being secured. They never informed me in advance (despite claiming so-direct lie from Will the manager) and he doesnt care enough to try and address the issue. The low price is not worth the pain of this managerās lack of care, communication, and follow-through. You will pay more in other ways.
First submission 24Sept: Starting with missed appointment times and disregard of agreed upon times and place, with multiple excuses from multiple persons⦠ā¦was promised over communication and that my rep would be in touch possibly multiple times a day- never called me once, I had to make all the effort to coordinate, schedule, confirm, reconfirm⦠ā¦continued with failure to have a file on job to communicate details to installers (lost multiple hours of work time, filled up my voicemail and txts, then once they finally found info I provided weeks earlier, never followed up to me, the client, that all is well and on track and sorry for inconvenienceā added unnecessary stress, discomfort, and blame to client⦠ā¦and finished with not securing the toilet, not responding to txt messages for 4 days showing continued disrespect, to then be told by the weekend team that the proposal didn't specify re-securing the toilet only removal! āand there is nothing they can do as they have no one working that can make decisions until Monday.
I am an out of state owner that put my trust into a company that made many promises on communication and ability to do job without my handholding the process, and was treated with the exact opposite. A $10,000 job should be communicated, conducted, and completed as promised, but was not.
PS. My primary support and communication issues stem from management and the apparent failed promises.
PPS. Toilet is still not secured and I had to pay entire bill upfront. All this frustration just spoils all the good the team intended to have and all the good the new floors and quality is bringing to the home. Unnecessary stress due to continuously poor communication. āmind you, while they always remained kind when talking and apologeticā I dont mind a problem that is followed by sorry, but 4-5 of them is unsatisfactory. So it makes everything really hard.
If they had better paperwork process, better communication between the entire team, and finished the promised job (all tiny tweaks to the system), they would be 5 stars. Not one person that works there is rude or wrong. All kind and lovely, just after job have learned is not a greased, seamless systemādisappointed to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCurrently the job is not done. We ordered & paid in full for luxury vinyl/wood look planks for our open floor plan (4/4). Installers arrived on 4/15, began ripping out old floor/installing new floor & stopped soon after stating they could go no further because the beams were uneven causing the floor to be too uneven. This could lead to cracking the new floor. The installation supervisors came out & said we couldnāt continue with that flooring & left. After the installers left, we drove to the store to get explanation. Had to order carpet for part of our floor & request installation supervisor & sales staff to come back out to our house to tell us what we could do. Next day new crew, sales staff, & installation supervisor came out & told us areas we could work with but carpet would break up flow of the wood look. They measured & stated the carpet would be ordered immediately & brought in carpet remnants to cover the plywood that would be exposed until carpet came. We are still waiting on new carpet & an installation date. Was told carpet would not arrive at their warehouse until after 5/6. Very disappointed. Updates... (5/16)carpet people show up with wrong pad. Had to call store and have manager bring right pad out. Installation was completed, but has a noticeable 8-10 foot seam running in the middle of the floor. (5/24) Wood floor repair crew shows up with no call ahead and has his family in the car. He had no materials to fix the scratches in the kitchen flooring and lies and said he would be back later if supplies were located. He went home and didnāt return after supplies were found within an hour. We have been in communication with corporate and they cannot compensate us anything because in their contract they call this reasonable delays. We now have to wait until (6/3) for someone else to return to try to replace the scratched planks. We are also waiting to see the remedy for the seam...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate 7/14: They canceled and still have not come to fix the issues been getting the run around for 2 months
Update: They called and are supposed to fix the problems this coming Monday will update afterwards.
I had rite rug install luxury vinyl in three bath rooms and install quarter round and thresholds transition straps between the carpet on the outside and the flooring. At least that's what they were supposed to do. The floor looks great no problems with that but the quarter round they installed was white not the reddish wood that was supposed to be installed and they did not install any of the transition straps. When I asked the installers they said they were just doing what the paper told them. I've contacted rite rug several times and have been told customer service will get in touch with me but haven't heard anything yet. I will update this review if they fix the issues. They are nice people and I like the flooring itself but they need to fix the issues before I can give the. A...
