UPDATE #3: This location has 'LEVELED UP' which is surprising. The staff members seem happier and one person is visually leading the charge. That person is "Ronni". She is remarkable and the way she motivates the other staff member has turned the service at this location around. Ronni is a rare find for any employer. Thanks to the entire staff for making this our new family favorite City Barbecue.

UPDATE #2: This location has a great manager. The food has improved. BUT BEWARE the customer service is still lacking. Tonight the cashier cough on her hands then prepared food. All this with NO MASK.

UPDATE: Beware if you are getting catering from this location. My order not ready at the time they emailed me. Also, it was not accurate. Although they corrected it I had to bring it to their attention. Finally request an updated email or receipt id you make changes to your order.

Thiis day 2 being open for this new location on Miller Lane Rd. They need to improve getting the orders right, but it should be fine in the future. Very LOUD inside. Not recommended for a quite lunch or dinner. As always ask for the Military discount and download the City BBQ app for...

Was very excited to try this new place that took over Steak-n-Shake spot. The first time we went there we went through the drive thru....surprisingly it was quick. I was under the assumption that the pulled pork sandwich would have bbq sauce on it. When I got home I was mildly disappointed that my sandwich had none. But that was my fault for not asking and making sure. So the 2nd time around I ASKED for the bbq sauce on the side. I mentioned it several times so that the worker knew I wanted bbq sauce for my sandwich. Got home and NO SAUCE ON THE SIDE! Now I'm ticked off cuz this time I asked. Although the basket of fries are delicious....I expected way more for the price. The pumpkin pudding was good, the peach cobbler was too dry....hardly any peach juice....the collards were a little bit salty and didn't hold its heart long. The macaroni was average and it would have been nice if it was more cornbread in the Corn pudding. If I go back it will be to get the pulled pork sandwich only and to make sure that PUT MY...

Have eaten food from here 3 times, first time was right after they opened and I ended up getting a really bad stomachache (pretty sure it was due to the potatosalad). Second time I received all my food and it was great. Third time was today (2-19-21) I didn't receive one of my sides and tried to call the store only to have a recording tell me the line was busy and to leave a message. I left a message and haven't received any response. Its frustrating because I was on my lunch break and wasn't able to run back over there and now I'm still hungry and am out some money. I utilized the curbside pickup each time which was very fast and and the employees were always very polite. Unfortunately I'm not sure I'll be returning anytime soon, food always seems kinda thrown together and after my first and third experiences it makes me kinda nervous that I'm going to be missing something or end up feeling sick. Only reason I'm giving them 3 stars instead of 2 is because of the fast curb side service and...
