We're huge Outback fans, we've eaten at restaurants from Florida to Ohio, because they're consistently good. Unfortunately, this location was absolutely awful. We arrived to be greeted by three teenagers working the hostess podium, one said it would be "like 10 minute wait because, like they were like changing servers like". Ok, we'll wait at the bar. The bartender was ridiculously rude, guess he was having a bad day. Asked for Crown, no they're out. How about a beer, no they're out. 🤔 Ordered a glass of wine, glass was filthy, asked for another. It's a wine glass, you can see it's dirty. Our table was ready after 15 minutes. No silverware or plates. They bring bread and the butter is melted, bread is smashed. Server arrived, we order all on one check, there's four of us, two orders of kookaburra wings as an appetizer. And two waters. We order our food. One order of wings arrives, no waters. After 20 minutes, our food arrives, still no silverware. Had to get our own. We ask about wings, oh my I forgot is the reply. You just came on duty, you're 20 something, your memory shouldn't be too bad yet. We get the 2nd appetizer. Two wings aren't fully cooked. Our meals were terrible. Dry baked potatoes. Steak over cooked and one under cooked. One meal not what we ordered. Why complain, because it's not going to help, because they are obviously so understaffed they can't keep employees, who knows. But they like do have like three hosts like working like.
I honestly think if Outback knew this place was operating this way, they'd yank their franchise because it was horrible. Don't even use the restroom there, it wouldn't pass a health inspection.
Shape up or ship out mates, either retrain or rehire. And I'd fire that smart alec bartender in a second, at least the staff was kind.
Yes, we tipped, but not extra. I'll never go back to the Miller Lane, Vandalia Ohio...
Read moreI usually don't eat at Outback, it's been a long time since I visited last now I know why. My granddaughter picked it today for her birthday because Texas Roadhouse didn't open until 3. We needed to meet some of her friends at 4pm so that's why we didn't go there. Anyways when we walked in a young lady acknowledged us but went to answer the phone. They were not busy at all. I thought we'll she would ask the caller to hold please, no she didn't. So we stood there atleast 5 minutes before another young lady came through and asked how many. She asked one wait staff if he could take us on his side, he must of said no, because the older gentleman working the bar cane out and waited on us. Very nice man and helpful. Another nice young lady answered questions about some of their menu items and that was helpful. The thing is for me not just Outback but everything has went up in price, but the sad thing is with that said, the quality and quantity has gone down. I remember times of eating out and say to yourself, man that was really good and worth it. I truly can't say that fir our meals today. They were just bland, nothing fancy, or e tra just bland. My steak had no taste, but instead of complaining, I didn't want to in anyway spoil my granddaughter special day. I thank the older waiter for giving her the special one cream for ones birthday. I can honestly say, I don't plan on coming back be cause it's just not worth it to me. Not just Outback, I'm going to stop dining at any restaurants because you just don't get the quality that you use to. Times are changing and I think alot of restaurants will fold this year because of...
Read moreWent today and arrived at 11am when they opened, so we were the first and only ones there for about 10 minutes. First thing I did was went to ladies restroom before sitting at our booth and it was NASTY with toilet paper on the floor in 2 of the 3 stalls, which means the restrooms weren't cleaned the night before or even that morning before opening. The trash can between the sink had used paper towels hanging out of it. Also, I ordered a medium well burger for lunch along with a salad. The burger was well done, seasonless, and the tomatoe on it was thicker than the meat. The bottom of the bun also tasted stale and the burger wasn't really hot, it was more like room temperature....Needless to say, I didn't like my food at all however, I did eat the salad. I told the server the burger was over cooked and she offered to have it re-made and I told her no thanks. She told the manager who also offered to re-make it and informed me it wasn't a problem to do so and I told her no, but thanks for offering. My husband ordered chicken wings, which he said were good, but they were very very small. He said he would not order them again because they're too small for the price. Despite all that, I will at least say the server and...
