Horrible. I wont say names, but I went to return a pair of shoes. The lady went on and on about how she had a few pairs and had had no problems. Seriously, my shoes were coming apart on the bottom. I got them on the 8th of this mo. Like I said..."I've had cheap $10 last better, Regardless of whether I wore them daily. She even told me I needed to let them BREATHE. I get that...I wear other shoes. They BREATHE, but these "Classic" shoes are FALLING APART, in 2 weeks. Then she insinuated it was because we have Chickens and I was wearing them in the coop? For $65 I should be able to wear them anywhere without the BOTTOM FALLING OFF. Then, when I asked a worker what her name was, she must've called her over there to talk about me taking her name. Actually, her name was Val. She was rude and when I mentioned to her that they had candy out that children could choke on because my child had almost chocked to death on what she said, "They should be careful." She said it in a rude way. I told her someone had just given it to him without my knowing it, and she responded with, Macy's does it every year, so Corporate is okay with it... My point was to inform her of a personal experience. She showec ZERO COMPASSION, just a horrible way of communicating. They can do better than this. A simple, "Wow, I'm sorry. I'm glad your child was okay. Unfortunately, Macy's Corporate side has us place these out, but I can atleast mention your concern tonthose above me." That's it, compassion and understanding. As far as the shoes...A simple, "I'm sorry they didn't work out, perhaps it was just that pair, because I've had some of those and never had a problem." I seriously did not nees to know every color you have and how you let them breathe. Thanks for the lecture. I'm minimalistic. I have a few pair of good shoes and I rotate. These were not a good pair for my lifestyle as they FELL APART. When I shopped for shoes I noticed the younger staff seemed tontreat the older staff terribly also, so this general way of speaking seems to be a culture in this store. If you shop...
Read moreSomeone asked a question, Has Macy's changed? Well just let me tell you, I was in there today with my husband. And what we saw was horrifying And never should be!! High desert Macy store was terrible it looked like it's been in a hurricane Clothing all on the floor Clothing on the display tables disheveled. Shoes are on the floor disheveled, food crumbs on the carpet. What in the heck is going on with Macy's high desert!!! When you go into Macy's you are to feel important feel like You have all the money to spend You feel high class, But today that was not the case Not only were their clothes unfolded all over the place shoes dishuffled on the floor crumbs on the carpet. We looked at associates in different departments standing around staring at the space or talking to one another like their store was not in chaos!! Don't know about you, but when I go to Macy's I expect more I expect more I expect a clean high end store I expect to feel important. How dare you charge the prices that you do and your store looks like a second hand store when you go into the high desert Macy's. I don't know if it's the management Or what but Macy's you need to get yourself together I am not going to go into a store Where I have to walk over clothing items Sort through Clothing items to see what I want it was such a mess you couldn't even tell what was in the store. I'm so ashamed and I don't even work there! So Macy's corporation/management if you don't give a darn about your store no one else will Straightened up or closed...
Read moreI went to buy Lancome products & I waited 20 minutes due to them being on lunch &/or gone for the day & this was @ 7:30pm. Alyssa at the Esta Lauder counter & her co-worker told me 3 times she will call for someone to help instead of assisting me themselves. Mind you, the 2nd & 3rd time I requested for assistance it was only Alyssa & she was NOT assisting anyone. Eventually, a really nice lady Kimberly came from the Clinique counter and assisted..Thank you Kimberly. As I went back in to get Kimberly's name the Cosmetic Manager Leo was there (Kimberly was explaining what happened) then I explained what happened (thank you Leo for listening). Alyssa needs "Customer Service Training." I believe in spending my money & supporting the growth of "up the hill" so as I drive around town I don't see empty buildings. This is my 3rd bad experience with the Lancome cosmetic counter (each time due to no one on duty) I will spend my...
