Initially I was happy and excited for this Whataburger to placed on Cobb Parkway. I was driving 20-30 min to Kennesaw or Woodstock to order from here. Obviously not often, but often enough.
So imagine my disappointment in the way the location is ran on Cobb Parkway. The first few days of its opening, yes the lines were long as to be expected. But the customer service was decent. The food was good. Pretty much just as I expected.
Now that this location has been open about 2 months. The Customer service has severely dropped as well as the quality of the food. The last two visits I have had, I ordered a Cobb salad. The first time I came right at the beginning of lunch. I was informed they did not have the eggs to complete my salad. (not really a big deal) I was told they did not have the proper meat to make my salad. I ordered spicy and they could only offer me grilled but that was after some minutes because originally they told me they did not have any meat but came back and said they could do grilled. Then to top it off they told me they did not have any salad dressing. This really seems like the staff was too lazy to prepare for lunch as I was there a few minutes to 11am.
Again just yesterday, I went back and ordered a salad. It was later in the after this time. Again they told me they did not have any Eggs, and when I got home I found out they must not have had Bacon either, because in its place they put sliced tomatoes as well as the cherry tomatoes that originally come with it. Once I received my order, I noticed they did not put the salad dressing in my bag, I notified the lady working the drive through window of the mistake and she appeared annoyed that I was asking for the items I ordered.
I honestly have so much more to say about this establishment. I wasn't particularly happy to see that they employees that were working had dirty clothes with stains all over their pants.
I was once excited that this place had opened near my home. I have now decided that its probably best to continue my 30 min to one of the other locations. I may not eat there as often, but it is worth it for good food and good customer service. I don't want to feel like I am bothering someone by asking for them to provide the service I am sure they would like to receive from other when they...
Read moreAbsolutely worst experience at a Whataburger. Drove into the drive thru to find 2 members sitting on the ground with ordering tablets in hand, I asked them if they were taking orders a la Chick fil a style. They directed me to the menu, but then I guess they realized they were actually supposed to be working. With Only 3 vehicles in front of me, I waited 10 mins to get to the window, to then be told there would be a delay and was asked to park in a takeout lane. Figured all restaurants can have a bad day but I could clearly see that the restaurant was totally in disarray. After parking and waiting for another 15 mins, I simply gave up on Whataburger being able to provide me with a fast food experience. Soon after that, I headed inside to try and get my money refunded but for that I at least needed a receipt(which I wasn’t given, since I never got my food). The restaurant seems fairly empty with only 3 tables in use. Walking up to counter I was cut off by an off the clock employee(he was wearing a Whataburger uniform under a jacket) that seemed to be playing some sorta stalling game for the cashier. The cashier looked frantic, even saying out loud to his coworker, “I don’t care, i don’t care, all I care about is that I got my 40 hours”, referencing his hours worked so far. Once my turn was up, I explained to the cashier about my missing food, and the complete and total lack of customer service. He went into the kitchen to look for my food, brought it out and in an almost laughing way said, “I threw in a brownie for you.” At that point I knew my food wasn’t going to be fresh or even warm, so I declined it all together and asked for my money back. I also asked to speak to the manager but my initial request was met with a blank stare. After being ignored, I politely asked a 2nd time. Donovan walked up a couple minutes later and his nonchalant response to my comments on the over all experience with his Whataburger was, “Eh, we'll do better!” So I went to Wendy’s. I emailed WB customer service but never received a...
Read moreThey aren't going to last long at this rate... I stopped by on a late night... there were a few cars in the drive thru so I observed to see if and how the line was moving... it was only a couple of minutes before it moved and then moved again quickly after that, so I decided to commit to the cause and proceed... I'm acknowledged by a monotone being through the intercom... I greet them with a cheerful 'good evening! May I please have....' I receive a monotonous 'anything else...?' after each item I order... I arrive at the window to witness some soft serve vanilla ice cream swirling into a cup... The delightful, less than clean looking being approaches the window to receive my payment and passes me the mentioned cup... I question, 'is this a chocolate malt?' 'Yes' was the reply... 'Oh, okay great! Thank you!' I respond. A paper sack is passed to me with the remaining ordered items and I thank them again.... I request ketchup and was informed that they only had spicy ketchup... okay cool, I'll try it out! I'm handed a few spicy katchups, thank them and wish them a nice shift... The katchups were physically nasty, one of them apparently had been opened, leaked on the others and dried up all over so they were trash... Needless to say, my chocolate malt was, in fact, a cup full of vanilla ice cream...! They straight up lied to me!! 😳🤣🤣🤣 #1 If you don't want to work, don't get a job! #2 What kind of hiring process/ standards does this establishment have that this person was able to pass?? I don't know, but for everyone to be so excited that Whataburger is here- I am not at all impressed, and they can go back and stay wherever they came from. No...
