well I had a problem with my son's keyboard and we were up there for back to Best Buy for probably the third time! We got there there was a pretty long line so I told my son to wait there and you know I was just gonna go browse around while I was browsing around there was a cart there that's used to get merchandise off of the high part of the shelf has no signs warnings no barriers nothing there's actually several of them located throughout the store so I thought I would get up there and take a few pictures it would be cool to have a higher vantage than normal well I was approached by a woman that work there who was the rudest employee I think I've ever come across she just fully hit me with attitude right from the start and just wouldn't let back. If that thing was so dangerous and it was such a danger why is it just sitting there and why isn't it corded off and why could anybody that felt like going walking on it go up and walk on it? well she's apparently thinks that she banned me from the store! The thing that she doesn't realize is that I'll take my business elsewhere I've shopped at that location for close to 30 years I used to purchase all of my appliances there for my rental properties I've bought countless electronics you name it that's been our go to store, but whether she thinks she banned me or not I'll never go back to that location. I wish I would've even gotten her name I took her picture I don't care what her name is she she shouldn't be working in customer service so she shouldn't be working anywhere dealing with the public she has poor people skills and she overreacts. I have half the mind to contact the person or people that are really in charge of that store. I'm sure whoever owns it or overseas it would not like them running up on customers with dismissive attitudes such as this woman had. There was a massage chair there that I would like to sit on but it had a rope cord off in front of it that thing was only a foot off the ground you know I explained to her that there was no reasoning why I wouldn't think that I'd be able to go up there and then she just got even mad more mad and disrespectful completely. Well like I said she may have banned me but little does she know I would never go back to that store again it's worth it to drive out of the way just to not have to deal with people like that I can tell you that much. Plus I had my son with me it was a lot better to take the scenic route and we had a nice little conversation along the way we had a few laugh. Life goes on but I'll tell you one thing that lady is gonna damage the reputation in the sales and the performance...
Read moreThe first young lady that was helping me with my pick up order was awesome. Very pleasant, let me know that someone would bring it up to me in a moment. I told her there was something I wanted to look at and asked if it would be ok if I did that so she could wait on the next person. She said that would be helpful and to come back to her and she would have my purchase. When I got back in line,there were 2 people ahead of me. I didn't mind waiting, I wasn't in a hurry. She saw me,looked behind her, then started talking on her walkie talkie. She called me by name,asked me to come forward and told me they took my purchase to a different location (In the store) and I could pick it up there. I thanked her for her time and help and moved on. Second location...no one there. Waited for a few minutes while looking around for anyone in a blue shirt close by. Thinking maybe they were helping someone else. I caught someone walking by who said he would find someone who worked in that area to come help me. This time I looked at the time. 7 minutes until someone came to help. Not a friendly young man, but not rude. Just there. I told him what I was there for, then he had to go find keys to get it. He returned, tried to process it. (I had already paid for it online, I guess he had to show it had been picked up.) He was having problems and asked me to follow him to another register for somebody else to check me out. This gentleman never spoke to me, said thank you, or your welcome after handing me my box. I thanked him for his help, because at this point I was ready to go. I love Best Buy and have always had great experiences. It started great, but went down hill. Will I go back? Yes. If I have the same experience, I will bring it to the attention of the store that day. I do wish I knew that young lady's name, she deserves...
Read moreThis place is a disorganized mess. We drove 20 minutes to get here after making a purchase online. When we arrived the manager told us the item was out of stock. Wait it gets worse. He said they had a similar item in a different color. No problem we will take it. Sounds simple right? Even exchange right? Nope. They had to cancel our order to make the "switch" meaning the online transaction that we made waz reversed and we had to go inside to complete the transaction. Sounded strange but we went inside to do what we thought would be a simple transaction. We get inside and the item we originally ordered and paid for has been located. To get it we would have to pay a second time because the first purchase was cancelled. Now we would have 2 payments on our credit card until the first one fell off in a few days. Can we speak to a manager? The manager happens to be right there and was the person who 'helped' us at first. He was useless and kept insisting that we were not paying twice because the funds would eventually return to our card. Can we speak to your manager since this mixup should not have happened in the first place? Oh he's not here but I can call 888bestbuy? Called them to be greeted with an apology and we are sorry that the store manager did not compensate you but this is a problem that has to be resolved at the store. Really? So the store manager was uninterested in helping, his manager was not present and 888bestbuy is ineffective, can i get a phone number for corporate to escalate this simple problem??? A full day of driving and getting nowhere with Worst Buy and I end up making my purchase at Target! Thanks Worst Buy for taking care of a loyal customer, can't wait to shop here...
