My first time at the Georgetown Le Labo and the cashier was very odd towards me. She did not seem to have an issue helping out others in the store, except me. I hope it wasn’t the fact that I didn’t “look” like I had the money to buy anything from there. I felt very disrespected and quite offended by her passive aggressive behavior towards me. I’ll gladly no longer go back to that location. From reading some reviews, It looks like this specific location has a past of poor customer service which is sad because they haven’t done anything to change it! I was going mention the cashier’s name, but I think she will know who she is. You’re dealing with customers who are gonna $$$ a lot for these products, you should treat them with kindness if u still want a job. One of the rudest and most condescending service people I’ve ever met, and immediately upon walking in. Left as quickly as I arrived, buying nothing. I had some very simple questions and instead of answering them or helping me, this French woman insulted me for asking what were apparently stupid questions—and this after not even greeting me when I walked in and said hello. She just stared at me without responding, and then rolled her eyes and motioned to me with a sort of “get on with it” thing. Didn’t even bother to get up from the desk. Then told me “Le Labo” was French for “The Lab” in an arrogant tone, as if that was in any way relevant to our conversation (if you can call it that).
