I broke out like crazy immediately after going here. The person who did me also put on a "colour match" sunscreen thing on my face. This made me look like an oompa loompa because in fact this "colour match" technology does not work on people paler than paper (what a surprise)! I told her repeatedly that I don't want it to be colour match, but she didn't listen and decided to use it on me anyways. In addition, she said she would use the jade roller on my face and then give it to me to take home. She didn't use the jade roller, and I didn't receive one for home. The person at the front seemed surprised and concerned when he heard she said that we would get the jade roller for free. I would not recommend this overpriced place to anyone. Although it may have been popular many years ago, this doesn't mean that their current methods meet up to today's standards. The woman who did my face not only did not take out the acne, but she ended up causing more acne. She also did not include a sample of the moisturizer which she promised me. I would never return here even if I got to come here for free. This was one of the most unpleasant experiences I've been through. In addition, I felt like all they were trying to do was to sell me their overpriced products. The woman who did me kept telling me that I "have to buy" this $60 cleanser they sell that actually dried out my skin a lot (as well as some other products, some she didn't even use on my face)!! My husband arranged a spa day for me while we were in LA for a work trip. He scheduled me for a facial followed by a massage. Shortly after he booked the treatments, OH called me to suggest we switch the treatments to have the facial last after the massage so as not to negate the effects of the facial/treatment. I appreciated the forethought and ultimately they were 100% correct. The spa staff once I arrived were extremely attentive and helpful. I arrived very early for my appointment but they made sure I found my way to the relaxation room. My Ultimate Relaxation massage was first. The masseur asked generally where my tension was and then proceeded to eliminate all knots and tension that have been plaguing me for months. Definitely the best massage I’ve ever had. My husband had scheduled me for the Red Carpet Facial. It did NOT disappoint. Truly the best facial I’ve had. We had an event that night and when I look back on the pictures, I absolutely see a significant difference in my skin. She eliminated “spots” that I thought I was destined to live with for life. This spa is a gem as are the people who work here. This experience was definitely the highlight of my trip and although I’m not sure I will ever be back in the area (we’re east coast), if the opportunity arises, I will most certainly be back...
