Updates: I live quite far from the studio, so sometimes arriving exactly on time is challenging. The first time I was 10 minutes late, the front desk refused to let me in without any explanation. I accepted it without complaint.
The second time, I arrived early and literally saw a white woman arrive 15 minutes late—and she was allowed into the class. I later asked the manager, who told me there’s a 10-minute grace period, but it depends on the class difficulty. I accepted that too.
This week, I was about 11–12 minutes late. The front desk staff were kind and offered to help me check in or switch to another class. I was even willing to purchase a package to become a regular member.
Then the manager came out, shut everything down, and repeated: “It’s the policy.” No check-in. No flexibility. No empathy. She dismissed my explanations, contradicted her own team, and kept pushing me to buy a package. After trying to reason with her for 20 minutes, I broke down in tears. Still, there was no compassion—only coldness and pressure. They eventually asked me to leave under the excuse of needing the restroom for others.
I didn’t feel like a client—I felt like a problem. The way I was treated felt like microaggression, and deeply hurtful.
First Review: really enjoy the classes here and have always had a great experience. However, today I was delayed by about 10 minutes due to a highway closure and was not allowed to join the class. While I completely understand and respect the policy, I’ve previously seen others being allowed in even when they arrived 15 minutes late. I felt the front desk could have handled the situation with a bit more understanding, and I was disappointed by the inconsistency. This is my only concern, and I hope it can be improved...

Over the past year (and then some), I’ve had so many friends ask me if I’ve tried Pvolve, and others insist that I absolutely must try it. So, I finally did.
I don’t know why I waited so long. I’m hooked.
I’ve been a longtime (15-year) barre girl. And while I still am, I loooove augmenting it with Pvolve. It’s the cardio and strength training I’ve been missing.
When friends who haven’t tried it ask what it’s like, it’s hard to explain. I’ve heard people say it’s like standing Pilates—but that doesn’t quite apply to the weight-training classes. Sometimes it feels a little like an ’80s aerobics class, but that might set the wrong impression. Honestly, I don’t know how to explain it other than it’s fast-paced, fun, challenging, and effective.
The variety of class formats is amazing. The instructors are incredible—the way they balance, lift, crunch, and cue without skipping a beat. I’m awestruck by their ability to demonstrate and lead at the same time. And the staff… I’m not even sure where to begin. Each person is nicer than the next—so welcoming, so supportive, so professional.
I’m actually writing this quickly before heading off to class, and I can’t wait. It’s that kind of thing. The kind of workout you look forward to, and the one you don’t get tired of.
Try it. Try all the classes—a Strength & Sculpt, a Progressive Weight, and a Sculpt & Burn. You...

Two years ago I went to my first class in West Hollywood, and I was blown away. Finally a workout that does it all - functional strength training, cardio, variety, and no damage to your joints! You can literally do a class every single day and each day, the routine is totally different while still being challenging and fun.
The West Hollywood studio is centrally located on Melrose Avenue just east of La Cienega. The studio is bright, cheerful, clean, and inviting, and the signature Pvolve mats ensure you're never vying for space like in some workout classes.
The specialized equipment Pvolve uses ensures that this is a workout like no other, and you move in every plane of motion to get the most well rounded workout imaginable.
All in all, I feel so lucky to be a member of this community where the teachers, staff, and fellow students celebrate every win. They even make signs for you at each 50 class milestone!
I love this studio and the entire staff, and I hope it's...
