I have bought personalized items from M Jewelers previously and have been very happy with my experience and the quality of items, however I’m currently having a very negative experience that might very well change my view regarding the entire company. I placed an order on the M Jewelers website for 2 personalized items on December 14th, 2024. It was quite an expense. I’ve corresponded with their customer service representatives several times over the last 4 months and had continued to receive the same message that my order is still pending fulfillment. Their website states their policy timeframe for production of custom items takes about 1-4 weeks from the date the order was placed. One item in my order finally shipped on February 19th which is beyond that estimated timeframe, but it was at least something, and after that update I looked forward to the second personalized item in my order shipping soon. No updates regarding the second personalized item in my order were received until April 7th and the representative stated the backlog of “delayed personalized orders from this past holiday season (November–February 2024)” was being alleviated and the second part of my order was expected to ship by the end of April. I didn’t receive an update by the end of April, and today I reached out yet again and received a message back that my second personalized item had not yet been fulfilled and they needed to reach out to their fulfillment team for an updated timeline. This is truly terrible customer service - if this delay continues much longer it will be going into 5 months time that it has taken for the second part of my order to be fulfilled. Read moreI bought a cute little cherub necklace a year or so ago as gift for a friend, at least a month before Christmas, it was suppose to get there just in time. I never heard anything about it until it a week before Christmas, at this point I was upset cause I was hoping to give my friend the necklace was now scrambling to get her something else. So I reached out to them, only to find out that they were temporarily not in stock, something to do with the manufacturer. Something like that, but I never once received an email telling me that there was an issue with my order or anything until I had to reach out. So I asked for a refund bc I already found something to give my friend only to find out that they couldn’t issues on because they were having issue with their system and shit like that. But they could give me store credit, I didn’t want it bc it left a sore taste in my mouth. So I tried back again 2 months later, some thing. They were working on it but there was no Hope insight. So I tried again this year. No answer for two weeks, so I messaged again, than I got to someone and they said they’d issues the refund no problems. That was a month ago. Order never shipped and it took me reaching out to customer service to receive an update from the company. Received an update on 10/6 re: an influx of orders, and that being why my order was delayed. Never recieved tracking and I reached out again.. on 10/19 I was notified that the item was on backorder and not expecting to ship. This info was only provided to me, because I followed up. There was never initiatve from the brand to provide regular updates on an order that was a month old and hadn't shipped.
