My dearest Mother sent me her Christmas list and the Madhappy Uggs were obviously on there, so I had to slide over. I didn't realize I was on hallowed ground as this is their flagship store, all the others have been pop ups or seasonal.
Inside is an inviting and thoughtfully laid out floor plan that reminds me of the shopping experience I had in Tokyo⌠Oh yeah, I've been to Japan hehe haha :) There were a ton of people in here as it was opening day when I came, but it never felt "busy" like most shopping experiences do, especially in West Hollywood.
As I stood in the waterless pool which doubles as a seating area, I looked up and for a second I thought I was in a James Turrell exhibit as opposed to a packed retail store on Melrose. My ex-girlfriend's Mom always used to talk about feng shui and I always thought she was so full of it, but the older I get the more I think she was really up to somethin. They NAILED the feng shui in here.
If you walk towards the back of the store through the atrium, there is fully functional cafe called "The Pantry" which serves coffee, tea, and pastries in collaboration with hotel drugs, courage bagels, gjusta, jon & vinny's, beverly hills juice and awan. WHAT A CRAZY LINEUP! It's like the 96 Bulls back there.
I opted to grab an black americano (cuz I'm a BEAST) and a courage bagel with almond butter and strawberry jam. After about a 4 minute wait, my order was ready and I went and just sat in the atrium and posted up. With the live tree watching me demolish my bagel and the Madhappy incense burning a few feet to my left, I was at true internal peace, even if just for a fleeting moment. I hadn't felt this feeling since the last time I was in Japan... Oh yeah, I've been to Japan......
I was so satisfied with this experience that I was THIS close to impulse buying some of the Pantry merch exclusive to this store, but I already have 2 Madhappy hoodies, 4 shirts, 2 pairs of sweats, 2 hats, the uggs, etc. One man's pockets can only take so much ahahaha. But I'm gonna let it sizzle, if I still feel like this in a couple days I will come black for that blue Pantry hoodie. Red dot on that thing.
The Madhappy team did a fantastic job on this store, and I'm gonna come back in here just to hit the Pantry, sit in the atrium, and take a breath if nothing else.
THANK YOU MADHAPPY, I GOT THE MH UGGS ON MY FEET AS I TYPE THIS!

Read moreI heard that there was a coffee shop inside a clothing store through a YouTuberâs video, which made me curious about this brand. Today I finally came to check it out. It was ok. FYI. The brandâs commitment to raising awareness and fostering meaningful conversations about mental health sets them apart. Whether youâre after stylish essentials or a brand with purpose, Madhappy delivers both in spades. I like this street. It would always be a surprise if you are looking for something chic because celebrity like Justin Bieber also likes to purchase personal items on...
Read moreI visited Madhappy on Melrose this past Saturday, and even with the weekend crowd, Ouzi stood out in the best way. He was stationed near the entrance and his presence immediately made me feel welcomedâlike he genuinely wanted to help. He wasnât just there to greet people; he was ready to give real, thoughtful feedback as I browsed the latest collection. His kindness and calm energy made a big impact on my shopping experience. If you're stopping by, ask for Ouziâheâs the kind of person who makes you feel like youâre in good hands from the moment...
