I was really excited to visit the pop-up this past Friday around 5:40 PM after learning about the Meta Ray Bans at Meta Connect. When I arrived I was greeted warmly at the entrance by this nice lady, who encouraged me to explore. However, I noticed a lack of immediate engagement from staff inside at the counter. It wasn't until the initial greeter mentioned my presence that two associates approached, but their welcome felt a bit cold. I then connected with another employee on the other side of the store who was incredibly helpful. She showed me the demo and let me try on different frames. She told me about a limited-edition frame available only on a specific day, which I was interested in. I asked if I could pay for it in advance, but she wasn't sure, so we went to ask someone else. One of the people at the counter made a comment about me trying to buy something on layaway, and even though it might have been a joke, it didn't feel that way. It felt more like a micro-aggression. While I appreciate the assistance from the two helpful ladies, the overall experience from other staff members was less than welcoming, leaving me feeling somewhat unwelcome in the store. Nathan was incredibly knowledgeable about the latest technology and products, providing clear, insightful explanations about Meta's offerings. He took the time to answer all of our questions and ensuring that we felt comfortable with the technology. What stood out the most was his passion for the Meta Rayban glasses. Read moreI had the best experience at Meta Lab I feel bad because I forgot the guy that helped me his name I believe it was Kenny or Kevin . He was very helpful from the minute I walked in, he showed me and did the set up for me and showed me how to use them. He also gave me a tour of the store and got my case engraved for me for free and showed me the room with the different lighting. Then he showed and explained the low rider exhibit to me and finally took me the optician on site to speak about my lenses for my prescription for progressive and transition on my frames.
